I’m not going to be buying anything to roast green beans or a burr grinder to grind whole beans.
I’m not a big coffee drinker, maybe two tumblers full a week. Mostly light or medium roasts, I’m about out of my current bag of Seattle’s Best and start getting into some Folger’s. What do y’all like? |

I like the smell of fresh brewed coffee
I hate drinking coffee |

BRCC Coffee Saves Roast
(The Silencer Smooth is pretty good also) The coffee is pretty pricey but I like the company philosophy and they have some great cups. Community Coffee Breakfast Blend Dunkin Doughnut All three are medium roast. I really dislike coffee that is roasted to the point of having a burnt taste. ETA: My wife got me a coffee subscription from Atlas coffee company last year that has been pretty interesting. They send one bag of coffee per month from different areas. Atlas Coffee |

Everybody laughs, but for me it’s Cracker Barrel, hands down.
Distant second is Peet’s Cafe Domingo. |

At Thanksgiving, the hosts had some great coffee they got from Costco. I'm getting some on my next trip:

8 O'clock is my normal go to.
I found Dominican Estate Peaberry in a high end market with a dedicated coffee shop/roaster. It is a lighter roasted bean and is classified on the "morning blend" side (although it can be brewed to any strength you prefer) but it is my very favorite bean. Very limited in availability and when my store gets it in it gets sold out in a few days. People that love this bean usually get 5-10 pounds of it when its in. It was not available for almost 2 years to me (I couldn't find it) and actually had an ARFCOM mod gift me a few pounds of it when he found it! |

All I buy are Kirkland (Costco) whole bean coffees. They have 2-lb. bags of excellent offerings from Columbia, Sumatra, Costa Rica, Rwanda, and others for a good price.

Everyday coffee McCafe Columbian. But I keep a bag of BRCC AK47 for the occasional treat.

I’ll get to try Folger’s House Blend tomorrow morning. My Seattle’s Best ran out this morning.

Cafe Bustelo Supreme (black can) makes a good affordable cup of espresso if you don't tamp the grounds very much so that it gets bitter.
Illy makes a better cup of espresso but it costs $10 more per can, though I sometimes buy one mostly for the aluminum can with a screw on aluminum lid. |

I mix a can of cafe bustelo with a large can of supermarket brand French roast for my tasty blend.

Anyone here drink Yuban?
I picked up a can today on recommendation from a few saying it is their favorite. I'll try it in the morning. |

I really like their breakfast blend. My family likes their different flavors. |

I bought the wife some of the Disney line coffees from Joffrey’s and she really liked the Mickey’s 90th Anniversary blend.
I stuck with my Folger’s because that was an early Christmas present. |

Didn't understand all the hype with BRCC a few years ago.
I saw some at the local gun shop and hot damn it's good coffee. Im on the subscriptio plan now, get Freedom Fuel delivered every 30 days. I ran out one week and picked up the smallest container of folgers to hold me over. I used to drink it before BRCC. It was the cheapest I could buy and I figured it couldn't be that much worse. Holy Fuck it was bad, almost undrinkable. I forced myself to drink it right up until my BRCC was delivered. When it got here I did a side by side comparison and it's freaking remarkable how much better BRCC is than folgers. |

BRCC and various blends. A little expensive so rotate it with Dunkin or Community

You might not notice any difference between the yellow and black cans with brewed coffee but making espresso is a process which can yield widely varying results depending on how it's made, since it's all about controlling the many variables and finding the combination that makes the best tasting (to you) cup of java. I've found that the black can makes a more robust cup of espresso than the yellow can probably because it's been roasted darker.

Dunkin BRCC is the shit that leaks out of garbage trucks View Quote Agree with Earp that Cafe Bustello is actually really good coffee and its cheap as they get. |

I’ve roasted for 15 years, buying some of the best coffee beans grown on the planet, but when I’m Jonsing, I’ll buy Eight O’Clock 100% Colombian Peaks.

View Quote Now I drink Folgers for sake of budget. *shrug* It's okay and I'm fine with it. I save a lot of money that way. (I get a double-size container at SAM's for same money as a small one at the grocery store.) I drink the Classic Roast and when I want something different, I put about three tablespoons of ground cinnamon in the brew basket with the coffee. Haters gonna hate.....I know. ETA: When I get to spend more money on coffee again, I will go with BRCC because of who and what they are/stand for. I'm fairly certain they will have a blend I like. |

BRCC CAF is my go to for wakey wakey. After a couple cups of that I like a flavored coffee. Dunkin is good, a couple of the Folgers aren't bad either.

Café du Monde and The Ruby Slipper in New Orleans both have great coffee.

Caribou Coffee light roast........or a local company, TJ's Roaster, Ethiopia Blend
|

Community Coffee....either Dark Roast or French Roast.
Drip pot is what you seek. Skip the K cups. |
