WOW. I don't play any more but just the freedom to play how you want, the emersion, the community, the story lines, the history. Honestly I think it's the best game of all time. I quit a bunch of times due to bad expansions but always just led back in for at least the beginning of the next expansion for fun. Been a few years now though.

The Ultima series was awesome for it's time. Started with the C64.

Windows:
Command & Conquer Delta Force 2 War Thunder (till the hacks and developers killed it) PS4: Everybody's Golf (developers killed this one too) old games were great. you played, if there were problems, they got fixed, or people stopped playing now, IME, they're all written in a way to get you to spend more money |

If I had to pick one, probably Homeworld. That was the game that got me hooked on PC gaming.
Honorable Mentions: Homeworld 2 Borderlands 2 Supreme Commander/Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance Sins of a Solar Empire |
|
Baldur's Gate series
Witcher series Knights of the Old republic series Mass Effect series I love a good story line. |

The only one I've ever played~
Pong. Dad brought it home and hooked it up to the tv. Always got bored and went outside with my Daisy. It was ok on winter nights, or rainy days. |

Falcon 3
Tribes. America's Army. The old one, not the new reboot. |

Goldeneye on Nintendo 64. Me and my friends had great times blasting the hell out of each other on that game.

I don’t know, Secret of Evermore was the first RPG I played, FF7 was good, WOW was fun it it’s own way, some of the most fun I had though was playing CounterStrike / CounterStrike Source Zombie Mod.

Baldur's Gate series. Other than the console games, they aren't the same
|

I hardly play anymore but back in the day the game I enjoyed playing the most is Day of Defeat.
It was the WWII mod for Half-Life back then. I think they eventually made a stand alone version. |

Quoted: This was a gamechanger for me just because of the 3D renders. It really felt like you were a part of the game back in the day: https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fglobal-img.gamergen.com%2Fmyst-3_00888575.jpg&f=1&nofb=1 View Quote They re-released this last year on Nintendo Switch. They give you the option of playing in regular mode(still pictures), or moving freely around in 3D. It's pretty neat, but I haven't had enough time to really get back into it yet. Lots of great memories from this game, though. |

It's harder than I thought to pick the top game.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Half Life Deus Ex I've played those games start to finish several times each. |

Tony hawks pro skater. Hours upon hours trying different trick/gap combos.
Mario. All of them. Golden eye. NASCAR 99 Cod mw don’t hate I love them all Mlb the show. Which is nice it finally came to Xbox |

1. Tie between Wing Commander 3/4.
2. Jedi Academy series 3. KOTOR 2 4. Guild Wars Prophecies (and Factions, but forget Nightfall). |
|
|
|
Mass Effect. Would have to lump the entire series into that. 2 was probably the best, but the entire series is what makes it so great because of the story told.
2. Skyrim 3. KOTOR 4. Ultima 7 5. Baldur's Gate 1 & 2. (Mostly 2) |
|
Call of Duty. My Playstations have basically always been CoD boxes.
Buy new CoD, play it for a year, buy new CoD, repeat. I can't get into any campaign/solo type games. I lose interest really quick any time I try. I prefer to be able to jump into CoD multiplayer for a half hour, have some mindless fun, then turn it off. |
|
Overall:
1. Fallout 2. Grand Theft Auto 3. Halo (original on PC) 4. Half Life 5. Kerbal Space Program To break that down for the series: 1.1 Fallout New Vegas 1.2 Fallout 4 (barely) 1.2 Fallout 3 2.1 GTA 5 2.2 GTA Vice City 2.3 GTA San Andreas |

Ark: Survival Evolved
If you enjoy griefing then it's a fun game. If you don't enjoy being griefed then stay far away!!! |
