I'm a "liberal" along with most of the users of this site.   The problem is the colloquial usage of the word is opposite the actual definition because the "right" has allowed psychotic authoritarian leftists to redefine words to the point literal monsters can identify as "liberal".  Worse many "conservatives" have forgotten in the USA they are supposed to be conserving western liberal values and too often identify themselves as "not those other guys", with no solid moral center of their own, instead allowing their opposition to define that too.

I’ve voted for Dr. Oz

What choice did we have? None. Just like when I voted for Mittens and McCain. Like it or not there are only 2 choices. One hopefully being a bit better than the other.

There needs to be a party for self imterested people.

I want whatever will make my family free, safe and prosperous, with a high quality of life.  If those policies benefit others, that's just icing on the cake.  If that means some groups have to sacrifice more to make that happen, that's okay too.  It's no worse than busines owners with employees.

I am not affiliated with any party, nor do I intend to be. I believe in liberty and justice for all, which necessitates a minimalist approach to government, esp. at the federal level.

It's pretty straightforward... outside of what is explicitly outlined in the constitution, people should be free to live as they please and the government can stfu.

Voted moderate.

Fiscally conservative (Govt should tax and spend less, etc.) but socially liberal on quite a few issues (some but not all).

Gun rights/repealing unconstitutional laws are something I am very for, and is the main thing that pushed me towards the GOP even though they do plenty of things I disagree with.

Do wish we had a viable third party.

Individual liberty and responsibility come first.

I'm against authoritarianism, regardless of if they wear red or blue.

The pole is all wrong

There are not really conservatives or liberals anymore. The current system is not worth conserving. What is needed is for the system to be restored to the Constitutional basis, or redone in some other way. The "liberals" are leftists who want to imprison, control, and destroy which is the opposite of real liberalism.

Right vs Left doesn't work either, since it's based in old European thinking that doesn't really work for the US. Libertarian vs Authoritarian gets closer to the divide in the US, but still isn't really specific enough and would lump together lots of people who disagree on most things.

Restorationist vs Authoritarian might be about right.

Moderates are just fools.
