Quoted: They do 144 month loans on exotics bro. View Quote They know how to appeal to their audience... OP it might be worth noting if you're looking for attention/exclusivity, or if you're looking for speed. It's worth mentioning as some others have mentioned, some of these supercars will eat up A LOT of your planned net worth. |

Mercedes or Ferrari.
911 is awesome but still a track car. Lambo is really neither. BMW and Jaguar for 3rd and 4th in a daily/lux/supercar. AMG One |

I once watched a mclaren 720 pull out of a K street parking garage and get boxed in by 2 DC metro buses
an e scooter passed him doing a lane split |

View Quote Another vote for the 911, or the Taycan which is likely faster if that's the goal. Pretty much any electric will out-accelerate a petrol engine these days. That said, a 911 sounds glorious! |

Quoted: Clearly the Fiat X1/9. It's "the Ferrari of Fieros." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2d2ao-oFkCg View Quote A friend bought a new one when they were first introduced in the '70s. Sexy looking little car. Within three weeks it went back to the dealer in exchange for a Cougar. Problems involved constant stalling, shifting problems and other irritants. The final straw was when the driver's side door glass fell out and the dealership told him it would take six weeks to get one from Italy. |

that 918 is sick. but it's over a million dollars. i saw two of them at Porsche of Dallas last year, a black one and a silver one when i was getting my car serviced.
as most have stated, i'd get a 911 Turbo if you have to daily it. just be ready for maintenance. they're now charging $190/hr for labor by the way at the dealership. The good thing about buying Ferrari, Lambo, and some Porsche's are, you can get your money back if you hold it long enough. I traded in my Cayman S in 2012 for $30k and today, it's still worth like $25-27k. I drive a Cayenne daily, and if i could get the new Cayenne Turbo S, that would be amazing. If you look at the track numbers, it beats most "sports cars" around the track. It's a beast. I've driven a lot of SUV's and the Cayenne is the best SUV i've driven that has the closest experience to driving like an actual car than any other SUV that size. Only the Macan has handled better but it's smaller. |

Since I'm a well established, long time Thousandairre, I decided an off the lot supercar would not make the statement I am looking to make.
So I built my own... Attached File |

Lol - laugh whenever I hear supercar daily. FFS buy a Lexus beater and save the angst. Juice ain't worth the squeeze. Literally.
For everyone who says McLaren, it works in FL to an extent. Not so much in the Midwest. Neighbors have them, the poor guy with the 570S up north has a hard time making it over the gutter and up the drive. |

Just a mil? I've read the new Corolla's are popular. |

918 Spyders make other supercar owners turn their heads. I got to ride in one once and on hard launches you can't smile because of the Gs you're pulling, even though you really want to.

Quoted: The only realistic answer is a 911. Between the practicality (comfortable driving position, good visibility, small back seats, etc) and the RELIABILITY I honestly cannot see how another car could be a contender. Stuff like Ferraris and Lambos and Astons are super-cool, but I would simply not trust them as a daily driver. If you go with a 911, then the question becomes where your defining threshold for “super car” is. I think a lot of people would probably say the Turbo S, or the GT3. Of those two, I’d pick the Turbo S, simply because it is slightly more practical and comfortable for daily driving than a more track-focused car like the GT3 cars. … of course, my choice is the GTS - which I believe is in the “sweet spot” of performance, practicality and value - but I am not sure it’s a “super car” View Quote The GTS is the best value of the 911 line up hands down. And you can get it in a manual. #savethemanuals |

Or if you want to be really stealth a e63 AMG s wagon. Super car performance, seriously, but actually super practical.

How long do you wish to remain a millionaire for?
If the answer is more than a month, then a decent mid level Lexus or below. |

Quoted: "supercar" is about performance, not whether or not it is common or popular. That said, I agree with you that a base 911 is definitely NOT a supercar. But a Turbo S definitely is. As I mentioned above, I am not sure where the supercar line is in the 911 range. View Quote Is that why nobody has suggested a DeLorean? |

NSX used to have that rep back in the 90s.
These days, probably the plaid or a C8. |

Thinking about it more...
I’d buy a 200 series Land Cruiser and machine gun. Those I know with super cars also have planes / jets. That lifestyle takes more than $1M to do right. |
