Two Glock 19s. Is that a clipdraw? Buy a good holster. View Quote It's hard to beat the G19 for utility, it's the perfect size for being comfortable to carry and easy to shoot well. Not to mention, 15 rounds standard, with 17, 20, 22 and 33 round mags available. And there is a metric fuckton of accessories available. |

Glock 19 is not a bad gun, I just prefer others.
Op, spend $100 on a good holster and maybe a belt and trash that crap on your gun. If you just want a new gun, look at a CZ p07. Fwiw I carry a cw45 or a S&W 442 38 spl most of the time. |

I've been using a clip draw for going on 11 years. Everyday. Without the silly trigger block. Am I going to die? View Quote |

If you get into a real fight and the bad guy gets a hand on your gun you are going to die. Get a real holster. Not an Uncle Mike's, not a clip draw, not a Serpa. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Been a dedicated Glock guy for a while, but I just flopped down into my chair and the G19 dug into my hip. For a few seconds I thought, "Damn this thing, I really need to find something better". What would it be? https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/117892/84532.JPG View Quote Do you need a decent holster? |

9mm is puny and for little girls. Good luck having to put 20 rounds into a target to bring it down.

I agree!

OP- Uses nothing but a spring steel clip attached to a firearm to carry it, blames the gun when it digs into his side.

A G19 is the Toyota Camry of handguns. Cheap and reliable. It gets you where you need to go in reasonable comfort. Much better cars to drive for not much more money. I'm not a fan of external controls. I don't like manual safeties or decockers. I don't even want a slide release. I only see it useful if I have to operate with one hand, and then, maybe. So, I can live with a Glock. Not the best. Far from it, but it works.

Maybe if you actually carried it in a real holster instead of that jerry-rigged crap it would be more comfortable.

Try a jmcustom aiwb holster There's nothing out there that does anything appreciable better. Not saying it's my favorite gun to shoot or carry though. View Quote |

It helps when it's actually in a holster. But to answer the question, I find that in many ways the H&K VP9 and Sig P320c to run circles around the Glock 19. Each have their own strengths relative to each other, and all three are excellent pistols. I own, trust, and carry all three. View Quote |

What's better? That gun without the clip and block. Get a kydex dood.
