Just look for 5.1 on the movie specs.
The new tech is Dolby Atmos. Surround sound moves objects back and forth, and side to side. The Atmos moves objects back and forth, side to side and up and down. With a proper setup you can hear a fly getting away, or coming close, flying up to the ceiling or landing on the floor. It's a great experience. But it costs a bit and one should know how to set it up correctly. It's the true 3D sound. The only problem is not many sound engineers can't record the audio correctly for Atmos. Most can't even get it right for 5.1 either. |

Went to see Commando with some buddies at some theater in Tacoma.
It was the 1st time I heard surround sound.
