One time bought a brand new $90,000 sports car when I was making really good money
After a few years the same car was worth $40,000 when I wanted to sell it (and like $35k trade in). Realized what a colossal waste of money it was and was not worth it |

In to see if anyone says Dodge Challenger Hellcat...
I’ve been window shopping |

A stupid couch. It was really expensive, so we hoped that meant it would actually be durable and last a long time. It was worse than the cheap couch it replaced.

Night vision. I only spent $1500 on some gen 3 autogated pvs-7s, and they got old fast. Not really sure what they’re worth and don’t want to get scammed trying to sell them.
Regret. |

My first house. $205k.
Second on the list was out of state grad school. $187k Third was a fully build massage chair. $2500 So I guess I'm getting better - as along as the new $20k motor holds up. |

Bass boat paid $13K. I pulled in my circle driveway and the boat clipped a tree causing $3500 in damage. I had owned it about an hour. I sold it years later for $1500.

$25K on an O-320 aircraft engine for my aircraft build.
I should have spent a few more thousand and got an IO-360. |

Quoted: Fully loaded competition edition M3 Almost bought a Porsche 911 S instead, those were going for $120k View Quote I'll contribute now though with: Lexus RC series coupe. Looked great, sounded great, but man was it a pig compared to its peers. |

A $187,000 XM1216 SUGV that Uncle Sugar showed up and politely removed from my possession.

A 350Z brand-new for $40K something.
Lots of fun. Too much fun ... for someone who can lose their job for traffic violations. |

2009 Dodge Grand Caravan
Such an absolute piece of shit. Only owned it for 4 years. |

A 2016 leased Cadillac ATS for $48K. It was doable and fun when I had an apartment, but substantially less so when I took on a mortgage. To top it all off, GM Financial shoved a big one up my bum with the fees after I returned it. Now that I've checked the "new car experience" off my bucket list, it's strictly 100% used for me from here on out.
