This type of training is becoming more of a thing now. I’m seeing more and more CQC / CQB weapons training, now with shoot or “kill” houses. I’ve done some small shoot houses with a pistol and frangible ammo and force on force with simunition.

If you could pick anything, what’s your CQB primary weapon of choice?

Is the AR pistol/SBR still king here or would you go with something else?

Most important factors to me would be reliability and low recoil for effective follow up shots.

My 11.5" AR pistol and then my G19.

More than likely it would be my G19 since I will probably carrying it.

The 11.5" AR will have big advantage in ballistics and capacity but the G19 would be quieter and easier to maneuver in tighter spaces.

Like any thing out there, or something we own?

Personal preference for enclosed spaces, given what i own:
300BLK AR SBR with suppressor and 110gr Barnes Supers.
.45ACP AR SBR with suppressor and HST.
930SPX with 00B or 1B
PS90 SBR (no suppressor...yet)

Exactly this if I'm out and about because that's what I would most likely have with me. I pack the AR and a few other things in a nondescript bag, and the G19 or G43X are on me.

At the house, though, would be a 8.5" suppressed .300 Blackout and a suppressed G17.

Aside from getting my boy from his bedroom in the event of a home invasion/burglary, or the wheels completely coming off and there's no rule of law, I would avoid CQB/structure clearing at all costs, though.

ETA: I REALLY wanted my suppressed Scorpion Micro to fill this role, but it's a big and heavy bitch for something that's only throwing 9mm. It's only 5" shorter than the .300 Blackout with that big ass Hybrid hanging off the end.

300BO SBR with supers and a can/dot/light

or Tavor x95 that needs a can. .

I've done a bunch of these kinds of exercises and the only reason I would use a pistol is cause I was forced into this game without the chance to pick. That's not how it would work in my house.

What about a Kriss Vector in 10 mm? The Kriss platform should reduce the 10 mm recoil and you’ll have something with a nice punch.

Husqvarna 455, bungee cords, and a couple tarps.

The darkened entrance of a hallway. From inside of the darkness, what looks to be a tall figure stands, looming silently. A rolled tarp is thrown into the room, landing on the floor nearby and immediately afterwards, a deep and breathless voice emanates from the darkened figure, almost whispering but so excited…the voice exclaims “Thank God…I’ve waited so long for you”. Then you hear what sounds like a chainsaw start up.
