A Dodge Rampage or a Chrysler Laser. My wife had a black Laser for her first car. Guy in town bought it from her and still has it. I would buy it if he ever sold it.

A Porsche 914 is also on the list...

Edit: after seeing a few posts... I would love to have a VW Type 3 Squareback. My stepbrother had one right after high-school. Fried the electrical on it trying to install an electric heater. I don't know why but I loved the look of that car.

Porsche 928. Always wanted one, I even think they look nice

I got a good story about a 928.

When I was a teenager, my dad took me and my brother out for our after Christmas camping and shooting trip. Look up Titus Canyon, we were camped out by the entrance as my dad wanted to see it in the daytime. Just before it was completely dark we hear a car coming, 928 comes around the corner, guy stops to ask directions!

In the car with him are two smoking hot blonde's and off they went into the Canyon. The next morning we drove through and kept looking for it down in the Canyon, it definitely wasn't a road I would want to drive in the pitch black!

As far as a dream car no one wants, my buddy Bill had a 1971 Torino brougham hardtop. 4 speed with a 429SCJ. Legit one of 2 made. He drag races it in pure stock drags in Michigan

No one wants a hard top 70s Torino but I love them.

I've been considering getting an '05-07 Town Car for a daily and road trip car again. Those were the last years before they moved production to the CV/GM plant and started decontenting them.

The supercharged 3800 GM cars were great sleepers for their time. I almost bought a Bonneville SSEi at one point. Coworker had one of the s/c Riverias that was just a bullet turd they way it looked lol. I'd also love to pickup one of the 5.3l Monte Carlos or Impalas but those things are so torque limited its painful.

Big block Suburban, any generation
Ford Excursion with a Godzilla swap
2 door S-10 Blazer First car was an '86 baby Blazer, then a 4 door 1994 and my brother later on had a 2000. I almost bought a crisp 2004 ZR2 a few years ago but couldn't figure out shipping from WA and didn't want to drive it 2000 miles home. I want a clean regular S10 Blazer from the last few years of production as a daily so I can convert my 2001 Sub to be a full-time camper. Put some 235 Toyos on the Blazer and drive it year round.

That was the truck, little torsion bar crank and an add a leaf and 285s FTMFW. There's a nice '90s full-size Blazer/2 door Tahoe and a pristine '90s Suburban in my town, I'm waiting to see a for sale sign on the latter.

V-8 swapped 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT.

I used to know a guy who worked at a custom shop where they swapped a V8 into a 1st-gen Toyota MR2. That thing was scary fast. Damn engine weighed almost as much as the car, itself, lol. And he drove it like he was always in a race. Granted, it was easy to go fast in that thing. He said brakes and tires were the 2 things that got worn out the quickest. And I can imagine why. They upgraded the suspension, too; but I'm not sure what they did to it. I'm assuming adjustable coil-overs, but I never got a look at it. I know the brakes were slotted, and the tires were something really soft so it would hold to the road better than off-the-rack street tires. They may have been a lower-tier race tire, I'm not sure. The cool thing about it is that it looked stock from the outside. And the interior was left as stock as possible. They swapped the seats for racing seats with 5-point harnesses. But other than that, everything else was pretty much left alone.

Testarossa.  I know that these days there are lots of faster cars, with more creature comforts, that handle better, and are more "fun" to drive, but I've always wanted one from the very first time I saw one in a magazine.
