Some commentators were very harsh about what an animal Concrete Charlie had to be to celebrate laying out a fellow player like that.

In fact, what Bednarik was saying as he pumped his fist was, "This fucker is OVER!" Having knocked Gifford down, and out, he also caused him to fumble. The ball was recovered by the Eagles with very little time left on the clock and they went on to win the game.

Billy Mills went thru the first 5k of the Olympic 10,000 meter race, faster than his own previous 5k personal best.

Listen to the guy in the announcers booth scream and start laughing when Mills comes back after being shoved out into lane 3 by then world record holder Clarke. Mills was a virtual unknown and huge underdog.
