My truck is the "totally not a weapon". Why get out if you don't have to?

I used to be in the trades, ironworker, I routinely carried a 1'6" nail puller bar under my driver's seat. I also had a two and half foot crowbar in my trunk.

My recovery kit in my truck has an E-Tool and a Fiskars x17 (23”) axe.

Cold Steel Gladius (it's just a machete... honest)
Large can of wasp spray (for pest control... seriously) Small baseball bat (game on!) EDC with extra mags (game on! ...again) Not a weapon, it's a device that maintains and enhances FREEDOM and LIBERTY. An ogre (me) Not out to hurt anyone unless they FAFO! *FREE KYLE* |

Hornet spray, the long distance kind for going after nests. Hornets are bad.

Golf clubs in the car, my mallet putter would be my go-to given it has a favorable weight to length ratio and is spiked on the back end.
In the truck the best improvised weapon would be a 24 inch breaker bar like several people have already posted. |

Quoted: Quoted: Harbor freight breaker bar with a 17mm socket on the end...for the lug nuts. My nuts are 22mm. Whatcha driving? It’s in my ‘01 Corolla POS daily driver. I’m in and out of company-owned property a lot, so it’s about all I can get away with as far as a weapon is concerned. 22mm? My ‘03 Expedition is 21mm if I remember correctly, but I seldom drive it. |

I normally have the G-20 with me..but I did have these laying in the back floorboard the last couple of years, just pulled them out last weekend...24" of MAC prybar X2 for dual wielding...

I'm a Rambo because I choose not to use melee weapons? Ok.
In all seriousness, defense of my family comes first so get the fuck out of ny. Keeping them fed is also my job, so if that wasn't possible, I'd do what was necessary. Maybe you are already doing that and are smart enough not to advertise it. |

Soviet surplus wood handled entrenching shovel, you know in case you need to dig your car out or shovel dirt onto a small fire. Two edges have been sharpened to allow chopping a tree limb or something.

A Pummel Pipe. I actually usually use it when I have to open the hood, since my struts don't hold it up anymore. I can happily demonstrate its use in this activity, and even show the marks in the insulation/engine compartment from past use.

1" ball bearing in 550 cord(monkey's fist) and a long handle claw hammer(framers).
I also have a hatchet for when I go camping. It always stays in my vehicle. |

Quoted: yeah yeah yeah we know you tier one rambos are geared to the hilt, but for the incognito crew without 2A rights in Commiestan, what do you keep close by that has a bit of plausible deniability? I myself keep my M18 chainsaw with a 12 amp battery. You know, for de-limbing. De-limbing trees and stuff. coughcough. View Quote Years ago, just after The Texas Chainsaw Massacre came out a UNC student dressed up like Leatherface for Halloween and went running down Franklin Street with a running chainsaw that he'd removed the chain from. You really couldn't tell... He came inches from getting ventilated by the Chapel Hill police. Nevertheless, it made a definite impression on a lot of people. As in, a huge crowd was assholes and elbows getting the Hell out of that guy's way. Good persuader. |

I got this mini baseball bat at a White Sox game about 15 years ago. It’s 18 long and solid. Good beatin stick.

I keep: a maglite, tire iron, shovel, and fire extinguisher in the car and they are reasonable items that may be required for emergencies
