Yars Revenge on the Atari 2600, then I grew the fuck up and became an adult

World of Tanks.
Unless you count all of the CODs as a constant update to a game. |
|
Toss up between:
Borderlands Series: All of them Fallout Series: 3, New Vegas, FO4 & FO76 Runners up: Forza Series mainly 2, 3 and 4 Gears of War Series : Gears, GOW 2 & 3 PC: World of Warships |

World of Warcraft, without a doubt. I was beyond one month of hours played before the first expansion on a single character. I was young, could pull all nighters sucking down a 10 pack of Dew. Now I fall asleep watching TV at 8pm.

Doesnt seem to be a lot of squad players here
Best military fps strategy game in my opinion Not as nuanced as arma, but also not run and gun like bf or cod. Its got differwnt factions you can play: us army, us marines, uk, aus, russian, middle eastern, irregular militia. Next they are planning panasian(probably chinese forces) Most fun is playing insurgents and attaching IEDs to various things (vehicles, drones, people) to blow up the enemy I like the armored vehicle selection: btr, bmp, lav, bradley, various tanks t62, leopard, t72, abrams, apcs, technicals, rocket trucks, etc... And recently added amphibious vehicles Air is limited to transport helis with door gunners-blackhawks, etc.. |

Overall, hard to say. Probably Super Mario Bros (SNES) or Zelda BOTW with my kids. Usually once a game is beaten it is shelved, but those two always end up being replayed.

skyrim, easily.
steam shows 1700 hrs on skyrim and 900 on skyrim se. |

Deus Ex/Thenamelessmod (I mod and Im trying to get modern weapons/AI feeling more realistic)
Team Fortress 2 Earth Defense Force 5 Killing Floor 1/2 Final Fantasy XI (wasted too much time) Insurgency Sandstorm Insurgency |

Quoted: Not sure. Probably either one of the dark souls games, resident evil 4, call of duty 4 or this masterpiece https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/9b/Crystalisboxart.jpg View Quote @ar15thur My man!!! One of my favorites growing up. |

Not a big gamer, but I’m playing Zelda BOTW through a second time.
I spent a lot of time in the Ultima series in college. And GTA III on the PS2. |
|
I'm over 5,000 hours in Rocket League, pretty much the only game I've played since 2017. I've never really been in to shooters, and getting old and busted means I hung up my IRL team-sports efforts a while ago.

Tempest with Galaga a close second.
I’m old. I also owned a tabletop Galaga and a stand up Tempest when I was a bachelor. |

Lots of Rookie numbers here.
I have 5745 hours in Killing Floor 2. I don't know the actual hours but I used to play Serious Sam SE fragmatch years ago. I was consistently ranked in the top 10 in the World. One weekend I checked my ranking and saw that I was ranked #1. A few days later I checked and I was ranked somewhere around 300. I contacted the ranking company and asked them what happened. They said "You had so many hours in game we just figured that you were a bot so we deranked you." I assured them I was not a bot but simply played too much. I'm currently doing some repairs/upgrades around the house. Wish I had used some of the gaming time to do this earlier. 1. Killing Floor Series 2. Serious Sam Series 3. Borderlands Series |

Army of TWO, Devils Cartel.
Also, the last video game I played. Yeah, I'm old. And haven't played a game in a long time. |
|
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 on PS4.
It gets bad reviews but I love it. The open world "sandbox" is so fun. It's easy enough that an old guy like me can still play it, but it's challenging and detailed enough that it's fun to play over and over again. I get it that there are way better games out there, but this is my favorite. ::shrug:: |

Easily Tetris.
Super Mario Bros after that, and then LoZ. All NES or Gameboy that I still have from 33 years ago |
|
Most likely the EA NHL series on the Sega Genesis back in the 90's . God knows how many hours I spent on that, just about the only game we ever played.
After that would be Doom on the PC. Current days I'd say the Mass Effect Trilogy. |
|
Counter-Strike, the original Half-Life mod, probably. Definitely the top if you also count C-Strike: GO time.
Call of Duty series games and Skyrim also grabbed a lot of time played. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are rapidly gaining on all of them, mostly thanks to some extremely well-done mods. |

All time raw hours playing?
Cookie Clicker by far. Nothing comes close. Been running it for almost 6 years solid. Minecraft as a distant second Honorable mentions go to different systems: Atari 2600 - Yar's Revenge Nintendo - Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Nintendo - Super Mario Kart N64 - Goldeneye Simulations: 1) MS Flight Simulator from 1990 - 2020 2) Orbiter 3) Kerbal Space Program College: 1) Doom II (original + custom maps) 2) Quake (original + custom maps) 3) Duke Nukem 3D 4) X-Wing, Tie-Fighter, and finally XvT |

Some version of Tomb Raider on the original playstation, or perhaps Skyrim or the Witcher 3.
|

OMG...I almost got divorced because of Team Fortress. A Half Life mod out before Counterstrike. I had complete gaming rigs built to play and dedicated connections to host/play it. I used to play it for days straight. A serious hardcore addiction..

COD
I play almost every day for an hour or so in the evenings after work and the gym. COD Gamertag: Who Is John Galt |
