Anybody else remember that when you turned the (old black & white) TV off, the picture shrunk down to a white dot before the screen went black? My dad told us kids that the white dot was the people inside the TV looking out to see who had watched the TV. Us kids would put our fingertip over the white dot to keep them from seeing us.

No question.  The original Mickey Mouse Club (1955-1958).

It was must see TV every afternoon at 5:00. I was eight years old when it first aired.
Later, auditioned to be on the Friday Talent-Roundup segment of the show. My talent was playing the trumpet (poorly).

As a little kid Rugrats, then a combination of All That (BEFORE Brittany Spears' sister got recruited just for being Brittany Spears' sister), Wild Thornberrys, and Rocket Power.
*ETA also enjoyed most of the All That spinoffs like Kenan & Kel, Amanda Show, etc.

"Soldiers of Fortune." Not the show associated with Soldier of Fortune magazine.

It was about two guys traveling around third world countries in search of adventure. My young self thought that would be a pretty cool thing to do.
