The Japanese have a death penalty and use it. IIRC, they don’t tell the condemned when until they walk them in the room that’s pretty trick.

I hope they go traditional and decapitate him with a katana. That would be a kindness.

From what I know about Japanese LE the hanging may be the most fun part of his time in custody.

How long do they simmer them before searing? (how long are they held before execution?)
|

Is Security wearing a revolver? Sure looks like it based on the holster.

While Japan has "freedom" its not like anything here, citizens have some rights but not like the good ole USA.

View Quote My understanding is when the paperwork is signed condemning him to death, he has a day or two. He’s notified the day before he’s to be hanged and chooses a final meal. Next of kin isn’t notified of execution until after he’s dead. |

Been saying they need an Executioner in full Samurai armor to behead the fucker.
|

It took nine years to convict the nut job behind the Tokyo subway sarin attacks and another fourteen years to string his nutty ass up.
He will be around for a while, but will swing most likely. |

Hang the Bastard.
I hate to ask but I want to know more about the weapon it looks like it has some sort of battery. |

Death by hanging.
Also incidentally the title of a great Japanese art movie about the prejudice against Koreans in Japan and the capital punishment process there. Failed To Load Title |

View Quote Basically a pair of endcapped pipes with electrical ignitors and black powder. No clue on the projectiles but the gun itself was as basic as could be without using a match to fire it. |

Quoted: It's random and they don't know about their appointment until the very day. View Quote Efficient and effective. Just like their engineering. You have to appreciate the methodology of this. The constant dread of being yanked out of your cell at any given moment has got to be a prison within a prison. |

How did dude break through the PM’s security detail?
…and I wonder what will happen to that detail. |

They hang people in that country. The Japanese people are very much for capital punishment. That guy is gonna sit on death row for a while and he will eventually be killed.

According to Wiki Japan use a long drop method to hang folks condemned to death.
|
|
|
They sentenced 13 people to death for the Tokyo subway attack. Pretty much anyone remotely involved. IIRC a getaway car driver was executed.

Don’t know if Japan is similar, but traditionally in Europe, beheading was considered more honorable and was mainly for nobility. Commoners were hanged. |

If he’s competent and guilty, he’ll likely get the death penalty.
He’ll be hung after exhausting appeals. His family and legal team will be notified after. They don’t play. |

What is this picture? I have seen it posted here before but I can’t figure it out. |

Leftards like to cite the strict gun laws in these countries that have such low crime rates but I think it's more their criminal justice system in general that does it. They are all less tolerant in general. Not much catch and release, once convicted they do the full sentence. Suspects can be held indefinitely on not much more than just that, being a suspect. Smuggling and possession of anything controlled is very heavily punished. Here we make laws by volumes and barely enforce them.
