I've been a Cop for most of my life in this time period and I guess I would of been a Lawman back then too. I'd probably die earlier back then though.

Everything..Most likely a black smith, a gunfighter(can shoot either hand eye equally), a mountain man, a cowboy...shit most anything that needed done I suppose...
|
|
Probably a carpenter. Other than that maybe a rancher or possibly a Buffalo hunter.

Lawman / Doctor - I'd shoot bad guys then charge then for the surgery.

I was a strip club DJ for 10 years so I'd probably be the piano player in the whore-house.
What would I want to be? A politician. |

View Quote From IMFDB, fwiw- 'Doc Brown is seen using a modified Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy" Rifle with a custom built scope (with exposed optics), custom sights, and large-loop lever. The design of the scope suggests that Doc customized the rifle himself. Armed with this weapon, he demands that Mad Dog Tannen's gang release Marty McFly after shooting through the rope of the noose around his neck. The rifle in the film is actually a reproduction by Cimarron Firearms." |

I'd be like one of those chinese gold rush miners who stayed behind in California and still kept mining even after the rush was over. Back then miners were complaining they were only getting around 1 ounce of gold a week and expected MORE.

Trapper/market hunter,
2 bore on my scull boat and screw your lacey act! |

Somewhere between cowboy/rancher and mountain man. Basically what I am now.
|
|
Some western hero who went around righting wrongs, I'd be their jovial sidekick and comic relief.

|
The mountain men stories always attracted me. They are the true adventures.

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: venereal disease People back then were pure, unlike today, and sex with multiple partners did not exist in those days. I don't think so. I've watched documentaries about sex in the victorian era, or whatever. People screwed around plenty. Plenty of who're houses. I watched a documentary about lewis and Clarke. When they got to the west coast all the men caught STDs from the indians. You see they already had sea ports and trade industry. |

Mountain man. I've done anything and everything I can in this life to get away from people. No reason to expect I wouldn't have done the same back then.

I fantasize about being some cool dude, like Charles Bronson in a western, but in reality, I'd likely be someone like "Dances with Mules" guy.

I'm fundamentally lazy.
Everyfuckingthing back then involved a whole bunch of work just to get ready to start doing, much less performing the task itself. There's an old song that makes fun of hardscrabble settler life and how nothing was just ready to go when you wanted to use it, "There's a hole in the bucket". Me? Likely would've willed myself into dying of dysentery even BEFORE hitting the trail, instead of putting up with that crap. |

When I started doing a little family research I found that most of my folks were farmers.
So probably that. |

Outlaw. But like a good one, who only robbed other outlaws and baddies.
