My dream gun was always a HK G36, until I got one.  Crazy expensive though but I love it.

full auto would be an MP5

I would have to say a G18 or a Beretta 93R. Concealable, suppressible , single or happy mode. What more can you ask for?

I voted AK-47.  I know, I know.

But, I specifically want a very well made clone of the East German AK I am holding in this picture.  I loved that gun.  It slid into the boresight kit holder in my Brad's turret very nicely, was a hoot to shoot, and all the numbers matched.

Yes, I look like a dork with the suspenders.  That's the point.

Realistically a M&P9 Pro with a full host of Apex parts and Heinie Sights.

Rifle wise would a quality AR SBR with 10in barrel and a surefire titanium suppressor.

Wouldn't mind a SBR Benelli M4 either.

I voted MP5 with a suppressor, but I would love to someday own a full custom bolt action chambered in .375 Cheytac.

The HK MP5 has been my dream gun since Princes' Gate. But It's obsolete now I guess I am too.

Anyone need an overweight .gov guy with gun? Will travel.

GAU-19, M61, M197. Any of those, although the GAU-19 is most practical, costing only $6000 a minute to operate.

I would have to agree.  I did a full mag dump suppressed and it was a full 100% hoot.  I've shot everything from 22 to 35mm but that stands out as the most fun.

It's the only gun I can actually write my name with

It has an...interesting history as well

Plus, if I'm gonna own a full auto, I'd like to be able to afford ammo for it

The rifle my granddad carried in WWII.  I'll never get it - don't even know the SN for the one in a million chance I'd see it for sale.

Failing that, right now I'd love a service rifle built by John Holliger with a few spare barrels, and the ammo to burn through them.  I don't have a holy grail gun, just a list that I prioritize.

MP5SD, or if I really had a choice, probably the Sterling L6A2, which is one of the quietest (if not the quietest) suppressed weapons ever.

Of those on the list, the MP5. I've fired a couple and they're like the Cadillacs of the full auto world.

My personal fave would be a 20" LaRue OBR 308.

Well, I already have a Colt M16 with a bunch of uppers, including a short 300 blackout (which in my humble opinion will boss an mp5sd any day suppressed).  And I've already got a few others, including a Benelli M4 Entry.

I'd have to say:

MP5A5(I think that's the one with the 4 position pack with burst and FA)
M249
M60
MP40
Accuracy International in 300WM
G18

Realistically, I'm pretty sure I'll pick up the MP5 eventually and maybe the AI.  The MP40, while awesome, is essentially a really old MP5 (9mm subgun).  I'll never own a G18 (at least personally; maybe as an FFL) or an M249.  And the M60 is a badass, badass gun.  I just am unsure if I'll ever get to that level.

Not to mention ammo...ohh God...

Easily controllable, very fast fire rate, very quiet........I need more money dammit!

i want one of those.  i have no decent place to shoot one though other than a range i belong to which only allows you to punch paper with NFA stuff.

but dream 'gun'? this is certainly on the 'list'.

Either a PKM or an MP5 as far as a full-auto dream gun goes.

As for all around dream gun, hell, I already got my AR decked just the way I like it. Maybe chop the barrel to 12.5", but that's it.
