But use a TKX, not a T5. It will shift sooooo much smoother.

Yo gramps, a 302/T5 ain't modern any more!!!

(Hides the fact that Grey50beast refers to a Grey 5.0 mustang with a T5)

FFR kit?

I don’t really plan on putting too much power to the ground with the wire wheels that my Cruise Director has established as a non-negotiable. I have the T5 from my current Foxbody project that is getting a TKX. That’s money saved that will go to the Webers. I’m afraid I’ll be spending more on car jewelry (wheels, chrome bits, leather, Weber setup, etc.) than the kit.

The Factory Five kit is appealing and probably how I will go as I have some friends who built 427 kits from them. I don’t plan on it being a show car, just another driver. Besides it would familiarize me with their kits for the future Daytona I have been promised grand kids to help build.

Modern is all relative. Had I not said modern someone would have been complaining that I wasn’t using a 60s block and a 4 speed. I don’t know when/if I may ever get interested in post 5.0 roller block Ford V8 engines. A Focus rally inspired build might be interesting though.

Not sure my C63 would look so great in BRG.

No. Black or matte silver.

I'm thinking about a Volvo 240 as a summer car.

I already have a red (pink due to poor paint used by Volvo) 745. I don't really need another, but it'd be fun.

That red is beautiful new though. I know exactly what color you're talking about I had a 93 240

The white car comments (fleet trucks?) make me laugh. I've had a lot of nice cars...none of them got the attention my BMW 640 did, and it was a pretty mild variant in the 6 series family. It's stunning on the right vehicle, but does tend to make a pedestrian model even more so.

Here, just for some of you with more delicate sensibilities...
