Yea I think I'm going back to colored lights next year. I like the warm white, but the cool white of the LEDs doesn't thrill me.

It's not the color, it's the flickering. If I'm closer than about 2 feet it REALLY fucks with my vision.

Spent the past few hours cleaning the GF’s glass stove top.

Her dog tried to get at a gingerbread house and turned the stove on, filling the place with smoke and leaving a bunch of melted plastic on the stove top. She’s out in NH for a few days visiting family, so I went over and cleaned it to surprise her.

Started off just scraping with a plastic razor blade, which was useless.

Turned the stove on to heat the plastic up and it started coming off, then it started to melt the plastic razor blade.

Trip to Walgreens to pick up actual razor blades.

Put some Olive oil on the razor blade to prevent scratching, turned the stove on, and went to town. Worked very well.

Blue LEDs/lights in general screw with my eyes. They get ridiculously blurry

Our tree has both white and colored, when we put it up we had it alternating between white and colored every few seconds, wife tried switching it to just white two nights ago but Victoria noticed so she had to put it back.
