Why?

Picard had the best stupid luck.  But Janeway(sp) traveled better, and had Seven as crew.

Sisko

He wasn't a wimp and generally listened to his people and looked after them. He also had the best team and duty station.

Voyager.  A lot less competition for 7.   =)

Probably the best chance to get laid and to survive would be Picard.  Better weapons...etc.

Most fun?  Kirk.  Kirk kicked ass and got laid all the damned time.   He'd be my best friend!  lol

Sisko would do whatever it took to bring everyone home.

But the Enterprise D was the swankiest ship, and Picard was no slouch after season 1.

Kirk (the real one) is a solid choice as well.  Not his fault the writers kept killing his redshirts.

Janeway, Archer, and JJ Abrams' universe can DIAF.

The Sisko.

He knew that the galaxy isn't just black and white, and would step into the grey area to get shit done.

That said, Patrick Stewart is by far the best actor of the captains.

James Tiberius Kirk, so long as I was wearing a yellow or blue shirt; but definitely not red.

Sisko was the best overall "Leader" character and the station was interesting

2nd choice Kirk was a lovable little guy but he'd probably get me killed within a week like all the other extras

There are two types of people in this world: Those who think that Picard is the best Star Trek Captain, and those who are wrong.

I voted Picard.

Despite that, I think Janeway had the lowest dead crew body count of TOS, TNG, DS9 and VOY. I never watched Enterprise or anything later.

Toss up between Picard and Janeway. Picard seemed pretty up tight but got shit done. Janeway on the other hand gave no shits and her crew had a low casualty rate.

Piccard. Because that crew has the most pussies.

I'd kill majority of the crew and invite kilgons on board to serve under me to rape and pillage the universe.

You people who say Janway are fucking insane. She deliberately stranded her entire crew 70,000 light years from home to save a few thousand Ocampa but then caused the assimilation of 100s of billions of sentient beings via an alliance with The Borg.

No wonder she got promoted to Admiral, her scene of ethics are so fucked.

None of them. They always shoot second, and usually after a deck has been wiped out. None of them use any scout ships or escorts. Serving with those captains is suicide, unless you're one of the co-stars.

Picard.
He was starfleet's best captain, was flying the flag ship, so was at the front of everything important.  He was the most successful, most loyal to his nation, his fleet, and his crew which is the right order to prioritize such things.  He was an excellent scientist, diplomat, and tactician.

Janeway, because I'd hit that.  Not that 7/9 wouldn't rustle my jimmies either.  But, Janeway was a lot closer to my age.

Option two: Kirk, because Lt. Uhura, providing I was a blue shirt. (This assumes I was in a similar age range.)

Option three: Sisko, because Dax was a regular. Those spots . . . .  (need melt smilie)

Sisko.

He was more of a military leader with a understanding of his troops and tactics.

Plus he didn’t consider them throw away items like Kirk, or baby them like Picard.

Janeway couldn’t even find her way home.

Janeway, she got to know the crew well and had great adventures with less war.

For me is sort of a coin flip between Picard and Sisko. It would come down to when exactly I'd have to serve.

Picard is a CEO, which is fine enough serving on the USS Luxury Cruise Liner while exploring and seeking out new life, sure he handles hostile situations well be he's not a "in the trenches" combat officer like Sisko(Siege of AR558, The Ship, Way of the Warrior ,Rocks and Shoals, Favor the Bold, ect)

Kirk was all damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead. I think a lot of people would have died under him.
Picard was all about fuck you, I'll blow up my ship myself.
Janeway was a badass captain. Kicking ass all throughout the Delta quadrant, and fucking the Borg royally. Being so far from home with no real hope of seeing it again would suck.

I would want to serve under Archer. Getting to see things no man has seen before, meeting other beings no man has met before. Possibly getting to slay some Vulcan Poon. I could live a life at warp 5 I think.

On the other hand. If I could still get the hot Vulcan poon and serve under Empress Sato, that could work.
