It would be fun to dive on a crowd of Liberals in a Stuka with Jericho trumpets blaring

I voted F4, but would change my vote to JU-87 if it was the tank-buster version:
STUKA JU 87 G type - Tank buster! And I'd need some tanks to, you know, bust. |

I've always wanted a ride in a P-51 but truthfully would love a ride in about any WWII era fighter. I get to see a lot of them every year at the Reno Air Races.
I have about 23 hours in the back seat of an EA-6B from the early 70s, including a Cat and Trap on USS Constellation. Not very sexy but still way cool. I can say GRU-7 ejection seats are not very comfortable for a cross country flight. Attached File |

Another for SR-71 Blackbird
For the view, if nothing else, for the speed check... Major Brian Shul, USAF (Ret.) SR-71 Blackbird 'Speed Check' |

Space shuttle. Want to see a plasma show on my windshield.
How is this not fpni. |

Twin Otter on floats. I used to hang around the float plane dock in Whitehorse as a kid, loved watching the big boys land...

WW1 German Albatross, I always thought it was one of the most graceful aircraft.

F-4.
A guy I know flew both the F-4E and F-15A/C in the STL guard. He said the Eagle is awesome but the F-4 is hands down the better flying airplane. I’m too old to pull 6g’s. Give me an F-4, three bags of gas and a low level route and I’ll die a happy man! TC |

It's easy to go fly a TF51.
You just need around 4 grand an hour. If you do it, and you should, highly recommend going to Kissimmee FL to Stallion51. Crazy Horse 2 was a lot of fun. That hour went way too quickly. |
|
Out the list the Stuka would be my pick just for the fun factor.
Others of note. ME109 Corsair Spitfire P38 ME 262 F4 |

From the list the F4 or the Mustang.
However would prefer P-38 Lightning, F7F Tigercat, B-25 or A-26 Invader. |
|
SR-71 or U2, but I would probably get them sideways or stall them out at altitude.
|
|
You want to fly in the Hornet, trust me.
Why, you ask? Simple. High AOA. It is a freaking blast. You feel laid back like the space shuttle all while doing about 100kts. |

F-16. I used to see them take off and land daily when I lived near a base in VT. The used to land less than. A mile from the apt building I lived in. Neat stuff.

Spitfire would my choice. Love that machine. My wife said for my retirement flight she plans to buy time in the Spitfire at Duxford. Good wife.

Poll fail, no A-10 Warthog. I guess in your defense though its more of a flying gun.

Not sure what you're asking. If your talking a one time ride along from your list of options, no question, B1! Take off and climb out w/ full AB. Oh yeah!! If you're asking given the key for a few hours to fly alone, I'd take the P-51 from your list.
Now if you talking winning the mega bucks and buying a plane to fly all the time, PC-12 would be my first choice. |

A slow one.
Maybe a P 47 like my uncle flew in the Po Valley |

prop P51

I must fail at daydreaming. I want to put serious hours on a fork tailed doctor killer.
Either that or the Oracle Challenger. |

Pretty much all of them.
If I had the connections to make it happen, I'd go for rides in these as a priority in no particular order. U-2 - edge of space seems like a good time. SR-71 - edge of space seems like a good time, but hauling incredible amounts of ass while doing it A-10 - BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT F-14 - because of course. P-51 - history and style P-38 - see above Stearman - an extreme historical example and there are still more than a few airworthy these days |
