Jeeps, broncos, Jimmys, and single-cab pickups that are not sold as status symbols. Basic, stripped-down, inexpensive off-roaders that are used for doing truck shit instead of over price pavement-pounding makeup haulers.

 A two wheel drive and a four wheel drive Chevy LUV size pickup with a choice of diesel engine or gas engine. Keep it small, light, simple, and low cost. Another great small pickup was the 1986 Nissan extended cab with a dual ignition 4 cylinder and manual transmission I owned. |
