Had a 56 Chevy, 68 Camaro, 72 Chevelle SS, 74 Nova SS, but the one that was the most fun was the 72 Pontiac Ventura that got the drive train out of the 74 after it got t boned. Went to bikes after that.

I like the front end of the 72 Ventura.

MY FIL told me this weekend he wants my help selling his 1000HP 1969 Nova.  It's an amazing car.  Wins first place at every major state show but he had a stroke and can't drive stick any more.

Throw it on Ebay?  Bring a trailer?  Black on black with a chromed out Procharger stroked 383 big block motor.....probably wants around 80K I'm guessing.  Where is a good place to generate interest?

Try to find an Instagram car influencer. Sounds weird but I've seen some big money cars listed on Instagram.  Try The Muscle Car Place or Hemmings as well.

Trans Am is one of my favorites. I need to get one some day. I'd trade a used left nut for a Year One restomod.

But yeah i’d give a ball for a bandit car

https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/24889/img009_JPG-315892.jpg

69 SS396 375 horse, 13k miles.  Still kicking myself for ever selling it.

My uncle had  '69 SS396 L78/L89 4sp. Magnesium wheels according to him. Fairly rare options from what I understand.

Sold it for a Vega when the gas crunch hit.

Yessir, the 74 is my brother’s car, but i am very excited to see it coming together. It’s been a big project and he’s put a lot of money, effort, time and money into it. I’ll go bump my thread in the car forum

L89 was an L78 with Aluminum heads.

There were 86,307 SS396s built in 1969 between Chevelles and El Caminos. 9,486 were L78 375 horse 396s. Of those, 400 got the L89 aluminum head option which cost $647.75.

Pretty rare.

It was a special order by someone who changed their mind about taking it home. My uncle happened along while it was still on the lot.

Owned two. '70 LS6 SS454 (bought new off the showroom floor) and a '69 Olds 4-4-2 W30.

Also a '69 Z-28 but that wasn't a musclecar. It was nice, however.

My racing partner had a Boss 429 Mustang.
