I started hunting archery with a compound bow in 1996 -- a bastard ass bow but I used it well.
There were, at the time, judgemental assholes racking their chests about what constituted an archery hunter. I lived and witnessed a mind-set of people who were 'hardcore' archery hunters that thought it apostasy to use a mechanical release while 'heathens' used mechanical releases to shoot their compound bows. |
