I really enjoy your food threads OP. That being said, those cans do not look very desirable,.
|

OP's stuff doesn't look too 80s, unless they're a podunk regional thing.
Charles Chips I recall, but I'm an L.A. guy, so they weren't around too much. Hot Tamales were my jam and David & Sons sunflower/pumpkin seeds. Chris |

Born in '78 I remember a lot of candy from the 80s. OPs look--strictly from a graphic design perspective--from before the 80s.

When fresh man those little golden pillows filled with like peanut butter were so good. Except those damn cans had those keys like sardines and would cut crap out of you if you messed up . Lol |

I don’t remember any of the ones in the OP. Must be midwest or east coast things.

I fucking loved Bonkers. We’d walk up the alley to High’s and get candy and a Slush Puppy. Late 80s/early 90s, Baltimore, MD. |

Pretty sure OPs candy was from some sort of school fundraiser.
Bonkers are missed today. Big League Bubble Gum. |
|
I have that exact same chip can down in the basement, though far more beat up. My grandfather used it to store loose nails. |

"Jolly Joe's" were the grape only version of Mike &Ike's or Hot Tomales jelly beans.
