Cool. In.

My buddy just had a pig born with one head and then the body split into two around the ribcage area.

These were brought in by one of our science teachers.   They were brought to her by a local rancher.   The lambs were joined at the rib cage and had 4 front legs.   They ended up cutting it apart.  We just got the front half, so I don't know if they were female or male.

It was pretty gross.   They were still covered with embryonic fluid, and very wet.  They also had their some of their organs in the chest cavity.   They didn't stink, but it was pretty disgusting.

We looked at the taxidermy books, and decided that jackrabbit forms were the closest thing we were going to get so we ordered two of them.

Students worked for a couple weeks on joining the forms and studying the pictures below.

Here are the skinned lambs.

Here they are with the jackrabbit form for comparison

You can see from this photo we needed to lengthen the neck, round off the back of the head, add to the top of the head, and work on the mouth.

That's the graphic part? When i cook the Greek owner would bring a whole skinned lamb or goat in a trash bag and have us trim ava season it up for his Greek cookouts he would have.

No market for a two-headed lamb.

Now if we can bread two-ASSED lambs, we can make a fortune in the middle east.

Except on Thursday.

Here is the modified form this morning.   I wasn't sure this whole thing was going to look very good, so I didn't get any shots of it while the kids were modifying the form.

You can see where the bondo seams extend the neck, and reshape the head and chin.  The chin ended up being too deep, so we ground those down after some fitting.
After serious sculpting, jackrabbits look like lambs.

After washing our little lambs and pickle tanning the hides, they didn't look to bad.   We were missing two of the four legs.    We decided to be pretty generic with the form, and not do legs.

For the ears, we used a milk container and traced out the ear on a piece of paper, then on the container.   They worked pretty well.
