This, from a socialist country with some of the highest taxes in the world? Our poor live better than your rich, more square footage in their houses, more disposable income, more and better cars, etc. I've lived in Europe for years, including Scandinavia, I've seen how the standard of living compares. I'll be happily retired with 20 acres of land and a 2500 square foot house, before the age of 50. That on the pathetic income of a military enlisted member.

Not gonna lie. I'm pretty friggin angry. Mostly because my children are being sold into slavery. We are the first generation to leave the next generation with an unsustainable level of debt, much less opportunity.

Problem is that progressives have gotten their way for so long without compromise. In the past few years, conservatives have finally say HEEEEEEEEEYY and refused to continue to compromise everything without receiving anything in return. Now both sides are pissed that the other side refuses to compromise.

There is probably no peaceful solution other than spiting the U.S.

What are you talking about? It's rigged for the poor. It's not worth it to work if you're a single mother until you're making over $50k a year. You can make more from government benefits than working until then.

You get free food. Pretend to be disabled, the government sends you disability checks. The government believes the poor are only poor because they live around other poor people. They subsidize your housing if you are low income but live around middle or high income people, thinking this will somehow break the cycle of poverty. This is called Section 8 housing.

Your children's education is free and schools provide not just free lunch but free breakfast for them. You get Medicaid to pay hospital bills and now Obamacare subsidies, praise the Messiah!

Today in America, you really don't have to work to get by as long as you are willing to be completely dependent on the government. And this is encouraged by the Democrat Party, because they tell such dependent people the Democratic Party is their political representative and it needs their votes to them to continuing to survive on handouts. It's sick.

If you work and make a lot of money, you pay 39% of your income at the highest rate. In what world is that rigged in favor of the wealthy? 47% of the working population pay no net income taxes at all. It may be deducted from their paychecks, but it's all refunded after April 15.

And what happens if the federal and state governments are so overloaded with debt and can't tax any more revenue that this mammoth welfare state with 90m-100m dependent on it collapses?
