Why Phillips? Look up cam out and most people only need 2 sizes vs 4-5 for Torx.

Square drives just suck, if you need the higher torque just use a Torx.

I was going to post this. I've only seen them on electrical things. It took me a minute to realize what was there and how nothing I had was going to work. I had to search to see what bit I needed.

I keep hearing that but I think someone made that up as an excuse for selling Phillips.

Kind of like when fatties say they are fat on purpose because their wife said they were too skinny

After spending the weekend losing my religion trying to remove Phillips and slotted screws the previous homeowners stripped so we could update the window treatments and blinds, I am all for outlawing both.
