This is the growing trend apparently among beta lefties-the bald head, stylish glasses. Maybe they're going for an updated version of Lenin, their childhood hero.
This is Rex Chapman. Played sportsball at Kentucky in the mid to late 80's. Loved watching him play, then he went to the NBA and went full sociopath. Bald w/glasses is a common style across the political spectrum.
Like most arfcommers, OP rarely sees other humans in real life - only those who venture into his mother's basement. He mostly just sees people on tv/social media/movies. TV/social media/movies are overwhelmingly produced by and filled with leftists, which OP knows and is conscious of. OP assumes that what he is seeing on tv/social media/movies is reflective of only leftists, since they look different than all the conservatives he knows (him and his mother) who look.....nothing like anybody on tv. (Except maybe the reruns of Mama's Family)  I will say that In my experience, complying with current style and fashion trends seems to be far more important to those on the left than on the right, but that's not to say the people on the right aren't dressing that way at all. Aside from the skinny jeans and pajamas, a lot of the left's recent "fashion" has been stolen from blue collar America work wear. Things like Carhart (before their recent commie stunt) LL Bean, Duluth Trading, Sorel boots, vests, etc. were all being worn by the manliest of men long before it was considered "in" to dress like that to hang out at starbucks. |
