I have to pay cash or write a check at the Barber Shop. I also have to write a check to pay my shooting range dues once a year.

I was on a county website...they bragged on being the foremost modernized county court record system and gladly spent millions and millions of tax dollars to achieve that status. When I couldn’t find anything I was looking for, I called and was told they would send the records, but I had to either pay in check in person, or via mail.

Because the only time I was late with a mortgage payment was due to a computer error on their end. I've never ever missed a mortgage payment since sending in a check.

i write a cheque for the rent because the landlord is a pain in the cock and doesn't deserve the convenience of online payments.

i write a cheque for plates because i don't want to pay the $3 fee to pay online.

13 cheques a year for the last decade or so.

Because I refuse to pay a $5 fee per transaction to give the city my money for garbage and sewer every month.  They get their money more quickly online but want to charge the customer for it.  Nope!

I try to use my credit card for EVERYTHING unless I get hit with a convenience charge or etc. in that case they get a check. It’s usually under 5 a year and are written to the state of Virginia for Car tax and other assorted bs they charge me for.

Because businesses still accept them. What a stupid fucking question.

See a guy at work at least once a month with all his bills in envelops with a check for each one head out to go pay them.  He still reads the newspaper though. Sometimes I ask, "so what happened in yesterdays news" or "did you read about", then insert news that just broke.

Think the only thing I have to use a check for is my annual range fee.

Wife gave the 21 year old mother of 2 new hire at the office a few bills, checks, envelopes and stamps to mail out and she asked me what we wanted her to do with them. She didn’t know how to address or mail something. When I asked her how she paid her bills she said with cash at the grocery store. Must be a kid thing...  Meanwhile, us old fuckers with our checks.

Mine is 5000 or 7500 not sure. If I’m spending that much or more it’s most likely going to be a check.

I'm not aware of any CC daily limits.

I think the single biggest charge I've ever put on a CC was like $3500 though.

I put $28,000.00 worth of appliances on a single c/c transaction. Had waited 25 years for the remodel and bought nice things. Got a nice cash back check on that. One year later the house flooded and I once again put $28,000.00 on a single transaction and also got a nice cash back check. One year later the house flooded again and once again .....

Like a broken record. Planning my escape is not an easy task.

Sooo you order stuff online with cash?

Don’t tell me....you don’t ever order anything online.

Online ordering is done w/ a Visa gift cards or another small account at Berkshire. Nothing that is tied to the credit union checking & savings.
