I would assume various reasons:
1) Virtue signaling. 2) Genuinely questioned getting it, and want reassurance that it wasn't a bad call. 3) They have very little else going on in their lives right now and are looking for something to strike up a conversation about. 4) Possibly wanting to give you a data point so that you can decide if you want to (or don't want to). "I got it and was fine" or "I got it and was really sick for a day" etc. |

Getting my second shot of the Pfizer bioNtin tomorrow.
You paranoid guys should go check out one of the major vac sites, for example the Grand Rapids DeVos center. It would beef up some of your preconceptions no doubt. Walking in there for my first one was pretty weird - very odd vibe - almost felt like I was waiting in line for a body snatchers pod. The Army Specialist giving me my shot was a nice touch. "No way anybody is going to sue this guy," is what I thought. In and out in 25 minutes:. Frighteningly effecirnt for a government operation. Somewhat upsetting. |
