Kind of interesting to place a modern brass casing next to them for comparison. Some things just never change

Brenneke Black Magic Magnum's are no slouch at 602 grains/1502 fps at the muzzle. 6+1 in my 870 tactical and I even have the 1895'esque ghost ring sights. Also have the versatility of taking small game with birdshot as well. There is also the Dixie IXL-DGS at 870 grains/1200fps at the muzzle.

Just about everything you can buy is safe for that rifle. It's the hand loads for Ruger #1s that get crazy. |
