Was out scouting for semi-secluded scaler wash areas and ran across this little gem yesterday and spent a few hours up and down the wash.

Had a "Scaler Rig" group run on Sunday and lots of cool trucks there. So dusted off the ol Shag & Scoob rig, tossed a quad in the back and ran for a few hours. Still had all the moves!

Thanks! I hope to get out this weekend with the group, maybe even up north a bit to a place in Prescott, AZ and get some more shots/videos and will toss em up when I get home. Now, if I could just retire and post more, lol! |

Was feeling a lil under the weather this week so just ran up the street from the house a few miles to our local spot. Had my sound box working, lol.

Traded a lightly used grey C10 SCX24 for this Losi Mini-B Pro Roller all turnkey and tuned up with a lipo and and brushless system as well as an extra servo besides the one installed. Came with a rather interesting 4-channel controller that reacts like a Futaba....Fast! Also a 4000mah lipo in the controller! Nice custom paint job, too! Came in box with papers, tools and extras. I thought we had a thread on these but must have drifted off the page. Anyhow, very cool buggies indeed!

Uh oh, ran across another new in box pro roller with a carbon fiber wing and box with the stock everythings today after work. Going to get some electronics ordered up and got an idea for a paint job that should look good...stay tuned.

So traded into a Farmcrawler build Gspeed with a Flysky gt3c for $300 and took it out to Jomax Sunday and China Wall Saturday. Did great and kind of digging the look. Great components in the build, too!

Then after breaking a rod end on Farmcrawler's panhard showing off and taking a massive tumble that also required a new front & rear square rail spacers, I buste dout with Capra Gspeed Toyota and took the day!

Got out to South Mountain for a few minutes today at lunch and got a short vid of a slightly steep and slippery section with my A&W build.

New Trx4m edition. Got one in black, now hopefully I learned some lessons with scx24's and won't have 22 of these, lol!

Also got bit by the Arrma bug. Somehow I have 2 Mojave EXBs, an 8s Kraton EXB and now a TLR Tuned Arrma Typhon 6s roller...geesh.

Well, now that I have a new comp rig puller, it might be the time to finish the rock bouncer build! I have a Hot Racing trans with OD, metal driveshafts and metal Hot Racing axle housings to swap out for the plastics. Also, I have a motor and servo, sooooo.

My buddy and neighbor has built a Mini-B/T course as well as a Mini Z course in backyard along with his scx24 outdoor course and I have been messing with my brushlesss Mini B Pro Rollers and Mini T brushless a bit! Some late night fun!

And for throw-back Thursday last week, I found this little discontinued, new out of box gem, a 1.9 Axial Wraith in the orange color I always wanted. @ $150 cash, it was less than another TRX4-M, lol! Was just missing the interior, some side mirror plate thingies, and one wheel nut center cap. So, if anyone has an ol 1.9 Wraith interior/misc., or wheel set laying around, LMK!

Also trying these leaf-spring rigs out. I wrangled up kind of a collector/limited run piece (177 of 479) back in December off an eBay auction snipe shown here, which led into a "user" LWB kit with 2-speed and full body, just need to finish assembly of the body. Look forward to "scaling" one of these out.

Came with enough electronics, all I had to do was bind to my dx5c. Couldn't pass this pkg up at $250 cash & carry, locally. The BFG one was just under $580 to my door, which is about half of what I have watched them go for in the past couple years once in a long while on eBay. Attached File |

So I traded into this scaled out RC4WD Tf2 and have quickly fallen in love with the scale aspect and it's overall performance! Now I have three Tf2's and one new in box BFG model.

Also, since I'm addicted to the rc4wd tf2's now, and Marlin passed a few weeks ago, I had to get one of these and it arrived today. Need to get my winch on the metal front bumper and a buddy accidentally bought two metal rear bumpers so getting the metal parts on soon.

Picked up my first hauler for all this crap, lol. Couldn't pass it up, new in sealed box at $260. I was going to get one for $3xx something but found a local guy with new doubles in boxes. Hey, I know that feeling!
Anyhow, I always thought these were unnecessary to have in the collection. Buuuut now I'm thinking with a fusion Pro or SE swap, servo swap, and rx swap, this thing might actually be very cool for towing my drift cars to neighbors events and for when we go to a few places crawling. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File And after watching Harley Designs video, I did a small squat until hitch parts arrive, ha! Attached File |

Also put $20/3-tickets in a raffle at local shop last month and won this new in box Losi no prep 1/16 scale dragster on Sunday on a FB live hopper drawing. Cool as it's the first raffle I paid into and won in 40 years, lol! I gave up on the 2a winning ones, haha!
I don't do FB since like 2007, so I had 5 buddies texting and the shop calling at the same time, too. Now I know how all you winner's feel! I was just trying to get people that were there when we drag race on Fridays to get excited and buy tickets and support the local shop, never thought I'd win it, though. These are pretty cool, too! Just love it out at Jomax! Saturday was great weather, too. Was there from 6am to 9:45 am and barely broke a sweat!
This dang TRX4 Sport lightly modified, just goes and goes, too! My buddy Crazy-Dave had brought out a really neat, really capable OG SCX10 as well and we scaled all over! Dang, just fell into another crawler hauler today. A buddy came off this one in his stash for me. SSD 1.9 Rugged silver wheels with ssd discs, and Rc4wd TSL Super Swampers as well as the stock wheels n tires. Box n stuff, too. I like that it comes with the better bumpers/hitch receiver and will probably do the bumper upgrade on my f450 dually next and trim the body molded in bumpers. Got to get my hitches!
Hopefully when Proline By the Fire comes in September, I'll be bringing these haulers and a couple custom crawlers behind em! Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

So I figured what the heck, and jumped in on FMS Father's Day deal BOGO on the 1/10th scale Atlas and the free Magnum 1/18th scale 40's-50's pickup. Haven't even opened the Magnum truck yet but been busy with other builds and prepping this Atlas with a new servo, a HW Fusion SE 1800KV, and some real Hyrax tires well broke in and SSD aluminum beadlock wheels. This thing is turning out sweet and also 340mm wheelbase!
Fairly simple creature with easy to get to features. All bearings so that was a nice upgrade over bushing equipped RTR starter vehicles. This teardown was nice as it also gave me a chance to put a good amount of red wheel bearing grease up in there, everywhere. But not too much. Transfer case will be next. New servo was less than $40 on Amazon, so we'll see. I used my Reefs servo hardware and 12MM long c/s screws to re-install from previous hardware that was a chincy washer and cap screw that was already pulling through. The aluminum servo flange on new servo was slightly thicker than plastic stock one, so it required removal of the passenger rail hardware back to the bed so I could spread some plastic open enough, then it all fit nice and neat back into the frame C-rail. So far it is stupid quiet and fast and I don't even have the BEC turned all the way up on the Fusion SE!

Installed these tires n wheels and took to Proline by The Fire. Did great and ran the entire poker run at night following right behind all the real rigs that were out there. I brought 11, or so.
