I'd say it depends more on your client's preferences than anything else. If you have a highly old school type clientele, it might not be time for a tattooed receptionist. They would probably not mention it to the receptionist or the management, they would just do less business with you than they otherwise would.
I'm speaking as a guy that has spent a lot of time in long sleeved shirts in offices while many other people in the office were in short sleeves. Not a big deal to me. You join companies, companies don't join you. |

I am 62 and no tatoos....my choice...my daughter in law has a very large tatoo on her left shoulder and she is beautiful.....there was some discussion before her and my sons wedding about tatoo showing out from the wedding dress, not between my wife and I, but some members of our side of the family and my wife and I just shrugged it off....
If the lady does a great job, is professional, does her job, treats people with respect and does not use "like" as every other word....I say they better pony up some cash and keep her. |

That would be one of the very last things i'd worry about in hiring somebody. Infact, several years ago one of the best people on my team had sleeves. She was about as good at cyber security as I've even seen, and I have managed some very talented people.

I never understood how most women can color coordinate, use makeup effectively, choose colors effectively and interior decorate a home nicely but when it comes to tattoos they just literally pick the worst crap from the ghetto tattoo parlors wall of flash tattoos and just put it on the worst spot possible on their bodies.
Beautiful girl just ruined her body which I believe was a work of art by a higher power with crap tattoos. |
