That is the reason I put it had to stay in new condition, because so many older rides had a fault in at least one area that we modded, whether it was suspension, brakes, [the FJ's worst trait] or the engine.

1972 Mercedes 220D.

Owned one, Dad bought it four months before I was born, gave it to me when I was 22.

I sold it when I started finding bits of metal in the oil filter, should have held onto it and rebuilt the engine.

My first vehicle was a 1982 toyota 2wd pickup. It had power steering, brakes, a/c and an am/fm cassette deck. It had a manual transmission. I drove it exactly as it came off the showroom floor.

I'd take a clone of that truck in a heartbeat.

66 Buick Skylark that I had for a few years.

It was a low production number, oddly optioned car. Basically a GS340 minus the hood scoops.
Sadly, it was too far gone to restore (bad rust and one side was 2" shorter then the other, just hid with bondo and drywall edge molding).

When I was 14 I convinced my old neighbor to sell me his 67 mustang fast back that had been sitting for ages in his barn. My whole life he let me climb in it and pretend to drive it so it made sense for me to have it. Spent the next few years slowly getting it running and driving.

Drove it for about six months and then got offered a decent price for it. Sold it to buy a truck.

I would love to have the mustang back.

My (used) 1963 Porsche 356 S90. Sure, I hot-rodded it, but to have it back, factory pristine, would be wonderful. It would be a great cruiser/carver even by today's standards.

Mom's 1972 280 SE 4.5 that I drove all through high school wouldn't trail far behind.

This is easy for me. I would love to have my old 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS back in new stock condition.

Second place would be the family hand me down 1967 VW Camper I had in high school.

Either of these are big dollar vehicles nowadays.
