OP's requirements suck.

I'd love to choose a supercar of some sort, and frankly would even choose a normal, everyday car.

But 87% of my current miles have to be done in some sort of truck as I pull trailers and carry equipment almost everywhere I go.  I'm happy with my loaded F-350, but I already have a five year old Subaru Outback with less than 30K on it.

Toyota Tundra Doublecab Limited (metallic black, desticker/badge).

Engine swap to 1VD-FTV 4.5L twin turbo diesel (all emissions removed).

Swap to 17" Rock Warrior wheels with Falken Wildpeaks.

Add big ass 46 gal transfer flo fuel tank.

Add underseat lockbox and 1/2 console safe.

Add ARB dual compressor system.

Add swing case toolboxes in bed.

Add CBI sliders and Ranchhand bumper/guard.

That's basically my dream vehicle to a T.

Op specified daily driver, with any mods I want, but I pay for maintenance and insurance.

OK, that means reliable with readily-available parts, and reasonable expenses to operate. I'd also want something to cover both transportation and hauling stuff, and something which the ladies thought was cute, the men thought was badass, and was great fun to drive. So...

1955-1957 Chevy Cameo, with blueprinted LS2 engine and 5-speed manual. Full independent coil-over suspension front and rear, four-wheel discs, modern tires. Something like this with the correct mods:

So take a sweet truck for free and use the money you'd normally spend on a DD to pay for a fun weekend car. That's what I'd do.

Primary driving vehicle?   Well, that rules out the Tiger I tank.  It'll break down all the time.

WW II halftrack is out too.  Too much fuel consumption.

Ditto w/armored car w/cannon.

1970 Plymouth Superbird with the following mods:
Modern drivetrain. Perhaps a Helliphant crate motor with an appropriate auto trans (I’m handicapped.)
Modern suspension and tier 1 brakes
Complete sound deadening treatment
Full custom leather interior, made to look stock, but with improved seating and support
Decent, but not over-the-top sound system
All conveniences like power windows an mirrors, cruise, a/c, tilt wheel, etc.
Anti-theft system with GPS tracking and retrieval capability.Attachment Attached File

The vehicle will be given to you free of charge, but:

1. It cannot be sold, traded, rented, etc. Nor can any components.

2. It must be your primary vehicle for five years, at least 87% of the miles you drive will be done with this, or you forfeit ownership. After five years you can drive it as much or little as you desire.

3. You must cover all expenses - fuel, insurance, maintenance, repairs, etc.

4. The vehicle will given to you with any modifications that you request.

What would you choose?

Most likely I'd go for something like this, with all modern components. I probably wouldn't go quite that low though.

LS engine, modern brakes, suspension, etc.
