Yes. When I was a child we didn't have AC and that made sleeping in the hot and humid midwest summers. I would spend the sleepless hours watching aircraft circle the aircraft beacon east of Chicago Heights. I spent hours and hours watching the aircraft slowly enter and exit the holding pattern over the months and years. One night I watched more than six, less than ten, bright dots of light come from different compass points, moving much faster than aircraft did, come together into a circle. They then rotated around that circle fast enough that visual persistence formed a circle in the sky. They then stopped, paused, and the white dots shot back out from the circle as they had come. This was about 1970 +/- a couple. |

Quoted: Quoted: Imagine being able to figure out how to break the speed of light only to accidently leave your high beams on for the entire world to see you. Aliens are dumb dumbs. They are smart enough to stop visiting us, once they realized that everyone was carrying a high definition digital camera. This is also proof that Bigfoot is an alien. Ever try to photograph planes at night with your phone? |

I don't know what I experienced. I was closing the gate at the top of our driveway one night, which is located on a deserted mountain top in rural West Virginia. The area all around me suddenly lit up like it was mid-day. When I looked up I could see the point of light that was the origin. It lasted about 30 seconds before going dark again. I didn't see anything in the night sky afterwards, and no sound at all. I explained it away in my mind as a fireball from a meteor. However, what I couldn't rectify with that hypothesis, is that the light never moved (which I guess if the fireball was coming directly at me would account for that), the absolute lack of noise from the sky (hell, even on the ground all the night insects and birds had gone quiet), and no telltale smoke trail in the night sky. I'm a scientist by training, and could not wrap my head completely around what I had experienced. |

I didn't see a physical object, just several green orbs interacting with each other. My wife and I had just gotten home around midnight and I saw them first a few hundred yards away in our cattle pasture, (I figured it was just someone who shot a deer at night out of season with a headlight on) and while I was watching the first light my wife called my attention to 2 others within 50 yards of us. They interacted with each other, Danced was how I thought of it at the time. Making figure 8's while fading into and out of sight. There were woods close behind the orbs, so I know the distance was 50 yards or so. They made no noise, and moved (still dancing) out of sight behind our house. She stayed in the car with the children, I entered the house to look out windows to look for them. I never saw them again. She said they left from behind the house once I went in and traveled down the valley until out of sight. I don't think they were physical as I understand that. I believe they were spiritual in nature, but that is probably biased by my fundamentalist Christian beliefs leaking through. No cattle or people were harmed as far as we could tell. I was in the house 5 minutes ( I cleared it as well) before I came out to carry in sleeping children. My wife believed I was in there more than 30 minutes. |
Let me tell you about the time I didn’t see a UFO. ![]() True story: Summer ‘97. Been storming hard all week, and it finally breaks, so we meet some friends at the movies for Men In Black. Yeah, I know. Watch movie, enjoy it, we’re leaving and in the evening light off on the horizon, I see a stationary glowing light. It’s bright and I keep an eye out it to see if it’s moving. It’s not. So, wife is tired (like dozing off) and doesn’t care so I’m like “we’re going to investigate”. You know, with our new found MiB knowledge and all. So the closer we get, I now see it’s an oblong glowing object, and as we get within a couple miles, I notice there’s a dark “window” or something in the middle. …and as we get within a half mile or so, it breaks from the trees… it’s the friggin Weather Channel blimp they sent out because of the storms the previous week so they were broadcasting from there. Sigh. I was hoping for a second UFO sighting, didn’t get it. |

Years ago, when I was young, maybe 10 or so, I was coming in for dinner and caught sent moving to the southern horizon. Couldn't really make it the shape, but it had what appeared to be a hugh red blinking light on it. It was moving from East to West at a pretty good clip. No idea what that was. No real guesses either. This was in daylight, but it was getting on toward evening. Back in the 90s, I became aware of some sort of craft that would fly over late at night. Airways knew when they were going over, because our geese would have a fit over the intruders in "their" sky. In turn the dog would start in. Whatever the were they came over fairly low or of the West toward Toledo, and out to the East. Later they'd come back over heading West. They made almost no noise or at least no noise I could hear, even as they flew directly over the house. They were running white lights, but none of the standard red and green navigation lights. No strobes. They flew in formation most of the time but would also break up and maneuver every now and again. No idea what they were but I assumed they were military. Thought it was weird they were flying over NW OH, though, even with the air base in Toledo. Can't remember if the 180th was still operating A-7s back then or if they'd transitioned to F-16s. Either way, I was used to hearing them come over and these made less noise. |

So why do these sightings mostly involve an unidentified vehicle with lights and why would some super advanced being require lights if they can travel from the stars? Good question that has not been adequately answered but I do know things I have seen all were “lit” somehow and doing things that were NOT natural, from the early 1990’s forward. Some were in a group, appeared to be star-like in space, in formation and suddenly disappeared, 1992. Others were single objects and definitely not an “airplane” of any kind. |

I could see the argument that exotic propulsion systems may produce some sort of byproduct that results in visible light to operate. But what never made sense to me is that, generally speaking, daylight UFO sightings rarely have this. They’re usually silvery objects, white tic-tacs, black triangles, etc….but rarely the “blindingly” bright or “colorful” lights seen at night. You’d think it would be mostly consistent, regardless of daylight. |

Indirectly. I was the Battalion Fire Direction Officer for a 155SP artillery battalion and we were at Yakima (as we always were). It was nighttime and we were shooting charge 7 red bag, high angle HE (as was required by our TACSOP). Got a call from range control who had received a call from SEA-TAC airport. An airliner flying at 30-something thousand feet saw fireballs streak upward near the plane, called it in, and the connection was made that it could have been us. Broke out the TFT (Tabular Firing Table) to determine "max ord" for the projectiles we were shooting. Nope...not us. Our rounds were topping out at something like 18 thousand feet. We resumed firing, but I always wondered what the hell they could have seen. |
|
Late 60s I was about 14 or 15 and we had a camp on the river next to several other families with teens. At night we would hang out in the boat and listen to the radio and cut up. Sometimes we would see shooting stars. One night we were looking for shooting stars and we saw three bright lights in a triangle formation go over without a sound. Shortly after, four more came over in a skewed rectangle kind of like a rhombus. Never seen anything like in in over 50 years. |
|
I saw a V formation of black orbs flying pretty low below the overcast a few years ago. It was trippy. Watched them for a while as they continued east. Wife saw them too. Looked just like this one in the video. You'll think this is a balloon at first but keep watching. ![]() New UFO sighting 2021 - video of a spherical shaped fast ufo |

Another time my wife and I were driving home and saw what we thought was an airplane at first, then we thought it might be a planet. But then it disappeared and came back. Did that a few times so we kept driving towards it. We finally got right under it and it was bright enough that it was glowing up on the the partial overcast above it. We watched it for about an hour. Got the entire dash cam recording. I had some binoculars in the truck so we got to look at it closely, but it didn't really have a shape. Just a prism of colors emitting form a single point to make a yellowish white light. It started moving down the valley so we followed it. But it kept getting dim and we lost it a few times. Then about 10 miles away we could barely see it again. While I was looking at it through my binos, I saw it appear to drop a light down under it that floated down to the ground. Then it faded out and we couldn't see it anymore. It was wild. |

Now think about how you can barely see the moon in the day, even when it's a full moon. They might be giving off light in the daylight, but it's just not bright enough to see. Same goes for planets and stars. |

Quoted: Seriously though, yes. It was clearly a "UFO" in the traditional sense. Take two shallow bowls turn one upside down and stack it onto the other and make them counter rotate. That's what I saw. I was a kid and it made alien abduction stuff scare the living shit out of me, particularly this movie: @Alien I saw a bit of this when I was a kid. The scene near the beginning with the faceless beings coming after that lady scared the crap out of me, and stuck with me. I never saw it again, and I have been trying to figure out what movie it was for the last 30 years. Now I finally know….thank you!! |

The scene with the little girls chasing the little boy really messed me up too, especially with that creepy music.

Quoted: Do you recall which thread? @Mazawakhan I don’t know what happened but my story disappeared. Long story short we were flying from CA to NJ late at night into early morning. While over Kansas we witnessed two lights in the east brightly appearing, dimming down and moving in S patterns, circles, straight lines, and chasing each other. We were at 41,000 feet and these object were above us. The guy I was flying with saw something similar while flying west a few months prior. Just with more lights. His partner that night has seen these lights at least three more times this year. When I posted the story om here a cop in Flagstaff contacted me and said he watched the same thing that night. I did a rough triangulation and whatever it was was over the Atlantic Ocean around Bermuda. That would put this stuff in outer space. We got video of it but all you see is a bright white light pulsate a bit then disappear. The video is on Imgur but it crashes every time I try8 to copy the address. The other guy who saw it last year got more footage a few months ago. Once again it’s on Imgur and that place sucks! Honestly it’s not much to look at. |

I searched this and found 20 or 21 episodes on YouTube! Thanks!!! |
| Summer of 1977 in a pasture outside Louisville, Kentucky with two other people we watched three objects very high in the sky moving in ways no normal aircraft can. Very fast to rapid stop, 90 degree changes in direction, they were just bright lights but it felt weird. |
|
In the 60's a friend and I saw what seemed to be a small oval light following and above a main street. This street eventually leads to a left turn to land at the local airport. We saw this around midnight or later. The object was silent as far as we could tell, but there probably was railroad switching noise behind us. The motion was steady in speed, altitude and direction. Decades later I read about motor gliders made for the US to do night time, low level, silent observation of enemy supply trails. It was probably one of these motor gliders. At that time the silent observation aircraft were being made and tested at that airport. Aircraft occasionally follow this or parallel streets, enroute to the airport mentioned. |

I've seen a lot of anomalies in the sky, including a spiral fluorescent telemetry missile test. However, I did see one in broad daylight three years ago with another witness. It was about 300 feet directly over me in a in park in broad daylight. V-shaped, FDE. One very large red light and three slightly smaller lights on each leg of the underside of the "V". Silently hovered over us for about 30 seconds, then accelerated off at an incredible high speed to the North. Probably military. That being said, I recently watched Oppenheimer. Afterwards, I researched the main characters in the plotline and others. Fascinating. Why did the Golden Age (1900-1945) of physics end? Aside from the String and M theories, what major revelations has the study of physics brought us? I am convinced that there have been breakthroughs that have been quashed by academia and hidden from the public. Misinformation in both the fields of science and ufology to distract us from these findings. |

Just an orangish star looking light. Was up there for a couple of hours. odd I've seen this exact same thing in North Idaho . Never could explain it . Sounds like we've all seen the same thing. Interesting reading through this. I saw the same thing over ten years ago in Afghanistan. It was what looked like an orange orb. I saw it right directly above me on a clear night. At first I thought it was a low orbit satellite. But it stopped - very suddenly, did not appear to decelerate gradually - right over me. Then it reversed on an arc, and again came to an abrupt stop. Then it went forward again in its original direction. As it was moving forward it suddenly shot off - like a shooting star. Again, no appearance of gradual acceleration, just shot off. Had you seen it at that very moment you would have thought it was a shooting star. Not saying I saw aliens or anything like that. It was certainly weird, and I saw the whole thing very clearly, right above me. What is interesting is seeing other people write about a similar such thing. I have a book where a soldier in Africa is recalling his memories - he was a Canadian in the RLI back in the 1970's. The book is just a series of reflections of these folks who served back then in the same regiment. Anyways as I am reading this, this Canadian soldier recalls a random night some point in late 70's where he was on radio watch off the Zambezi River. He sees a strange object making odd maneuvers he at first thought was a helicopter. What he described was very similar to what I saw in Afghanistan over a decade ago. It was certainly a strange flying thing. It seems even stranger to see people recall seeing what sounds like the same type of thing back in the 70's, which would mean the technology was around at least to back then. I feel like it is more plausible we'd have that type of aerospace tech these days, but certainly not back in the 1970's (not that I am all that well versed in aerospace tech history). |
