I'm guessing people who are "off the grid" probably don't post on Facebook much either. You just put your post in a bottle then toss it in the creek. A post is what I use to hold up the fences that keep self-absorbed attention whores outta my yard. |

I wonder if most people are aware of the radical new mortgage/banking regulations that just went into effect in the past week or so?
I haven't heard so much as a blip about it in the news. |

Sure , dump Facebook etc, but arfcom is still a form of social media. So you better drop this too. View Quote I guess I might be naive but ARFCOM has little in common with Facebook. Facebook is now demanding real names to identify profiles and the way "friends" are linked and facial recognition software is used anonymity is literally impossible. Plus, to be be frank, this site has a much stronger set of behavior rules. You could get in much, much more trouble on Facebook with racy and/or racist posts than you could get into here. Not to mention the whole "Stop Posting Your Everyday Lives" thing. |

So what happens if you don't do social media! I'm sorry Sir, you don't have enough of a social media profile for this loan without a co-signer. I could literally see that as happening. I could also see being forced to keep up a social media profile because employers use it to dig up dirt on hires and treat people who keep their lives a secret an unknown commodity. I could also see people being told how to "groom" their social media presence artificially to make them more hire-able and get better loans. |

Yea we can't give you a loan you haven't posted enough on Facebook or tweeted enough. I don't even have a facebook or twitter account. Honestly, I don't feel much need for one, other than maybe to sell shit on it. I really want, to want to do it. But i just don't. Years ago, I'm talking when it was new back in the 00's, I did Linkedin and Facebook, and made a real effort to "get into it". I contacted a lot of people I'd lost touch with, or from college or high school. ...and then I realized there was a reason I had lost touch with them. Then my firm really clamped down on "social media". We had to eliminate our Linkedin accounts, and jump through all sorts of hoops on what we could say and do on Facebook. It was monitored. It was a compliance nightmare. So, I just let it all go. My wife and kids do it, and seem to like doing it. I guess I'm just not "new economy" social. I'm satisfied with the semi-anonymous friends, with avatar names, i have on this and a couple of other forums, and my "old economy" friends and associates that I communicate with face to face. I guess I'm just genetically not hip. |

A sheriff friend of mine said that facebook was pure gold when it came to keeping tabs on people, "an investigators best tool" I think he called it. Holding people accountable for their debt is a good thing. It means cheaper credit for those of us dumb enough to pay their bills. Fiscal responsibility and Facebook are not the same thing, I know some very real wealthy individuals who are on Facebook regularly , writing some of the dumbest things you will ever read. It does not stop them from being fiscally responsible. Facebook will tell you what type of person that you're dealing with. The quickest snapshot of an individual (no pun intended), is their images page. You see within seconds what is important to that individual - what their priorities are. If I look and see a bunch of pics of kids at soccer practice, I'm dealing with a much different person than if I see a bunch of photos of liquor bottles and weed. |

Didn't China implement something like this last week------a "Political Score" based on things like this?
The higher your "political score" the more benefits you derive from the ruling class. Revelation 13:17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the the mark, either the name of the beast, or the number of his name. |

Basically making it more costly/risky for banks to loan people money for homes. |
