59 Chevy 4 door with a BIG 6 in it.
But the car I'd like to think was my first car 64 Impalla SS, 327 with Hurst 4 Speed. The back seat was so big it had its own zip code. |

1966 Ford Galaxie 500 LTD.
428 backed by a worthless FMX. I pulled the motor, and bought a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 (two door, hardtop) to give it a new home.

Olive drab, 1972 Ford Maverick 4-door.

1999 White Toyota Corolla
Man that was a grandma car, but got great gas mileage. It was nice until my my now wife totalled it when I had her drive while I was doing reading for a college assignment. http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b624/kanej09/corolla_zps9df08e9e.jpg Per the rules of ARFCOM, here is a pic of the wife http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b624/kanej09/WPhoto_zpsea8cbdc6.jpg Hot AND gets rid of your dumpy old Corolla for you? I bought it when I was seventeen in 1973 for $300 dollars. No pics but the car was almost like new. |
|
62 VW bug. I was living in Italy at the time while my NCO Dad was doing a 3yr tour in Vicenza, and bought it from a rotating soldier for $200. I was one of a handful of Army brats at the High School who had a POV. I drove that sucker all over Europe with my friends. Good times indeed.

Quoted: 63 Corvair when I was 13 in 1990. It was a project I never really did anything with. I traded it to an ex-cop for his old duty pistol 1911. Holy crap. Mine as well. But in 1975. Wish I could find pics. I rebuilt it, painted it white with 2 black racing stripes. Debadged it and put "LOTUS" decals on the lower panels. Idiots actually thought it WAS a Lotus. |

1966 6 Volt VW Bug with broken drivers seat and holes in the floor boards. The seat was held up by a 50lb sack of calf feed. So needless to say the back floor grew oats and shit that was in the calf feed when it got wet.It was a beat hard and let loose of 2 pistons in a glorious Boom coming home from work one night

1991 Ford Taurus SHO
Awesome engine until you have to work on it. |
|
91 Dodge Dakota with the 318 V-8. It was a beast of an engine for a mini-truck.
I put in a 15" sub that took up most of the back seat and drove around setting around car alarms with it. I guess we were all stupid kids at some point |

It was in the shop about half the time I had it. Sold it a few years later for $800. Fun car but such a POS. I will occasionally see one out on the road these days and I just wonder "How the hell is that car still running?" |
