93 Toyota Camry LE.

I actually just quit driving it last year when it died. Lasted me six years, one crash, and another blown motor.

My first car that was a 59 VW Beetle, but it needed a lot of work and I was 14 so I sold it and bought a Nintendo.  My first car that I actually drove was an 82 VW Rabbit.  I totaled a few months after getting it.

MIne was EXACTLY like this one, except mine had the small door mirrors and was 2WD....

My parents bought it used in 1981.  I got it in 1988 when I turned 16....never should have gotten rid of it....
My brother inherited it from me, then we sold it a couple years later.  Several years later, I guy I knew in another state ended up with it, and he never knew I previously owned it.  I bought it back from him, and installed a mild 454.  It ran 14.20s in the quarter mile at 3800ft. uncorrected.  Not bad for a 4500 lb boat.  I traded it for an '87 Buick Turbo Regal.  Wish I had that car back too.....

Where's the other half of your car man?

Here is mine. 1989 Crown Victoria LTD, 302 and a 4 speed auto. The other one is also mine, 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis with a 4.6 v8. My mom ended up driving the 89 for about 3 more years before she sold it for $200. I'm never buying another car that is painted black.

Bought one wrecked when I was 14, built everything myself including engine/trans/body/paint ect. and was finished when I turned 18. Was same color but had 50's on the rear and a homemade air dam on the front. Could bury the 165mph speedo after a few miles with the first rearend, a 2:73 Powerglide axle. Couldn't turn it though, air got underneath so I made the air dam.
Spent maaany hours porting/polishing the heads/finding right cam/timing on a 350 block with 400?? heads off a GTO.

I had an '80 CJ5 for awhile. That Jeep was great. It would go anywhere with that short, narrow wheelbase. I really regret sellling that one.

I've got no pictures of it. But it was a brown '78 Chevy Nova that had a 305 and auto on the column and bench seats. Not a shabby car for a kid, when it ran. Most of the time it didn't.

I had it for maybe a year or so, until I'd enlisted and sold it to another guy down the street. Turns out that the damned thing had an engine fire a few months later. I never did hear the whole story though.

1978 Mercury Cougar XR7, 351 4bbl, dual pipes with Thrush mufflers and Hooker headers. Keystone Raider rims and lowered slightly. Burgundy with a white vinyl top.

Mothers and fathers warned their daughters about the "Love Machine". My granddaddy called it a "fucking pimp wagon".

It being my first car, I miss it. I totaled it in an accident in late 1988. Pulled out in front of a Town Car doing 60 in a 35. I was lucky to have survived.
