I think the thing most leftie gun grabbers fail to realize is that MOST gun/country folks built some form of zip gun when they were a kid.

Hell, I may or may not have made a really handy .410 bang stick when I was a tike.

I remember seeing this back in undergrad. To my knowledge you can't actually shoot it, without the gun destroying itself and what/who ever is holding it needing a couple bandaids afterwards.

The problem is funding and resources. Nolo has to eat, and he can't file on every possible case. I'm sure Safety Harbor is considering their options - they well may figure it's less costly for them to go the FFL route than sue an organization that has unlimited resources. 57Center may be even smaller - they're not even producing their upper right now.

Looks really cool for a homemade

The barrel was a leftover from a previous project that came off of a mini uzi 9 mm Barrel. The receiver is 1 inch pipe with 1 inch caps. The lower is 1 inch by 1 inch square tubing. The trigger and Hammer were made from quarter inch steel. The bolt is literally a bolt. Firing pin a nail. Front trunnion was a 5/8 bushing that I pressed the barrel into and then cut a slot for a piece of key stock to hold the Barrel in place. The Springs were all made from Springs at Lowe's straighten out and then repent for my purposes. Which pretty much was only the hammer spring in the trigger spring. One of these days I'll get around to adding a trigger guard. And maybe even painting it.

The thing is deadly accurate. Which frankly completely surprise me. and I have fired several full power 357 Magnum loads through it. My favorite load however is a 148 grain cast wadcutter loaded with 2.8 grains of Bullseye powder. Very accurate and very quiet suppressed.

I didn't say 80% AR's are zip guns. Look at this thread and many of the guns posted are true zip guns. I don't know if the laws in the other stats, just know they are illegal in Ohio like I said.
