Wishing you the best OP. I went in myself on the 11th for surgery and they cut the cancer out of my kidney. I had a much different prognosis than yours seems to be but those places are amazing and the staff are saints. Hang tough

I was tempted to sneak off the floor and take elevator down to the cafe..get a donut or something. I wonder how far i would get pushing my IV tower around with me and wearing my hospital gown before I'm tackled by seurity or a hot nurse for escaping.

Most of the times I've been in lock up (hospital inpatient) they want you to get up and take a stroll every once in a while. I'm a horrible patient and they like to see me ambulating so they can get rid of me quicker. |

Good evening Brother. I hope you are feeling better. I was diagnosed with stage 2 high grade myxoid liposarcoma last year at 38 years old. I am from Crossville and UT cancer institute was my choice.
Dr. Anna Wallace performed both of my surgeries and the 5 weeks of radiation was under Dr. Joseph Kelley. My wife and I were very impressed with UT hospital and the staff. The folks caring for you are top notch! I know it sucks but you will be out of there soon. You will appreciate home all the more. We are all rootin’ for ya! |
