Wait, it shot .2 MOA worse than everything else except the White Oak, which it was .5 MOA worse? And it also shot the best group out of all the rifles using the ammo suggested by G? Yeah yeah yeah, cost this, cost that, whatever. You're paying a premium for the name and everyone should know that. |

Quoted: I have a few no name barrels purchased for under $100 that shoot around 0.75 MOA or less with handloads. I would be pissed if I had spent Geissele money for a 4.5 MOA rifle… With modern manufacturing that is unacceptable. Do the 9 shot grounds like the video using the same ammo. And he never shot 4.5 MOA. They just state up to 4.5 would be considered acceptable. This is like complaining about panel gap on a new car and the dealer saying twice that would still be acceptable. |

Quoted: Edit that to include the target distance and you anecdote might become a data point. Quoted: Quoted: 5-shot group typical of 16" SD barrel and REBCG with G rail. Other stuff is other brands. Lower has SSA-E trigger and G buffer and fancy pants spring. I think this was with PMC 77gr xtac something something. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/236406/71E43614-197B-429A-98F7-422355DA6F38_jpe-2386239.JPG 100yd… is that not the standard? |

The only thing I saw about accuracy or a “accuracy standard” was DoD’s 4.5 MOA standard. Which isn’t what G has as a standard, it’s the DoD standard. And before someone accuses me of shilling. I’ve never Peeped and Puked. I own more White Oaks barrels (1) than I do G barrels (0). I do own 2 G triggers (3 LaRues). I prefer G ACH Charging Handles over any other (though I’ve never tried a G Gov CH). I own 1 of their rails (3 KAC URX 3.1s). My 18” White Oaks barrel is incredibly accurate. 5 rounds touching on the bull (52 gr handloads) at 200 yds. |

Quoted: Seems like there are a lot of G fans on arf. Assume this guys experience is an isolated experience? Gd is full of g nut swingers and they will fight you to the death over it, even through all the bendy boi bill rails, rusty barrels, shit customer service. You name it and they have an excuse for it |

"Hey, there's a video out on YouTube saying are duty rifles are only good for 4-4.5 MOA." "Well shit." "Don't worry, I'll pass out some more free shit at the next douche canoe shooting event. Those fools have doubled ours sales on that retard board." "Whew, that was close!" |

I would have thought at least the Federal round should be sub-MOA capable but his video had him shooting over 1" with every ammo/barrel combination IIRC, including the vaunted WOA. Maybe he's not a great shooter? What's his optic? What does his bench setup look like: resting handguard on his range bag or shooting off a sled? Given a match barrel, appropriate optic/trigger/etc, and a stable bench with sleds/bags, what is the guy capable of shooting? |

Really it just seems he had a really bad group with the IMI, the wolf gold and Lapua look pretty good to me. Attached File |

Looks like a 8 or 10x optic, unsure of the bench scenario. He does have a graph at the end comparing 4 other barrels and 9 shot groupings across them. 2.4MOA with IMI Razorcore 77gr 1.8MOA with Gold Medal Match 69gr. I know that I've shot better groups with my BA barrels, my RRA SS barrel, and my KAC barrel which range in price to 1/2 the price of the Geisselse to more than the Geissele. I wouldn't be thrilled with 2+MOA groups with match ammo but YMMV. |

Who can say since he doesn't tell or show us? |

It shot a 1.3 MOA 9 round group…although I don’t get why anyone would shoot 9 round groups at 108 yards. Seems silly. This is what happens when nerds get into the world of going outside and doing real world things…they can’t understand it. The spec for an actual M-4 is 4 MOA with green tip. 2 MOA is beyond the accuracy capability of most shooters, rifles, and ammo. The rifle exceeds actual M4s in terms of accuracy. There is nothing wrong with the rifle, beyond it being in the soy infused hands of that guy. |

Quoted: 2.4moa from shit ass wolf gold? I have $500 barrels that won't do that good with it. Consensus, this guy is just an idiot. https://www.ar15.com/ammo/project/Self_Defense_Ammo_FAQ/MOLON/Wolf%20Gold%2055gr%20FMJ.htm |

Quoted: I'd been thinking about getting this rifle, but the CS response of anything below 4 MOA is acceptable to them made the decision for me. Was their CS response that bad? I mean they offered to create an RMA and take a look at it. He chose not to take them up on that offer. |

Quoted: I'd been thinking about getting this rifle, but the CS response of anything below 4 MOA is acceptable to them made the decision for me. Ya 4 is dumb and I wouldn't spend 2K on that. I would say sub 2.5MOA for a duty gun. 4moa is fucking bullshit. A FAL would make that cut. On a related note, wasn't there a snipers hide thread back in the day of a KAC SR25 that wouldn't do 1MOA and their standard was like 1.5 or 1.8? We can't have just one crop of fan bois offended here.

Quoted: What if you chugged the puke? I chug, I would question the performance. My rifles are filled with G stuff. Their triggers and rails are the best in the world. I don't think I would post a multi-minute video about it though. I would work it out with the company. Based on the performance OP is seeing and the performance posted by others with the same gun I would say his rifle is off. The big thing besides the less than stellar groups is the crooked barrel to upper to rail. That is atypical for any manufacturer. |

Are people aware of how actual duty guns at Colt and FN are made? They literally have a guy with a hydraulic press that bends barrels to straighten them, using light and shadow plus a drop through gauge until he decides he bent it right. There is nothing wrong with a consistent 2moa duty gun. If your rifle is wearing a red dot, it’s about a 6-8 MOA gun anyway. |
