I went to basic between my Jr and Sr year in HS. I was 17.
When I came back the girl I had dated for over a year dad tried to sit me down. He said "I know your hormones are raging because you've been away. But if they rage all over my daughter, Ill kill you." I laughed in his face. We went on our date and when I dropped he off, fucked her in the laundry room. |

The girls with fathers with the "or I'll kill you" mentality usually apologize about their daddy a few times in advance. That said, I've only once encountered it myself. Maybe it's because I'm significantly bigger than an average person, and I keep dating left wing chicks with left wing dads.

She has dated 2 boys so far. I lay out a bunch of empty cases on the table and ask them " do you know what these shiny things are and do son?" If he responds "yes" I tell him "yes" and I have a few more out in the garage that need de priming and cleaning. I want a reloading buddy so bad

Years ago a girlfriend's dad was a Vietnam vet and a deputy sheriff. The first time I met him he was polite but I could tell he was trying to be intimidating. Then he made the mistake of mentioning guns to me. His daughter was super pissed because we were late to the movies because he and i talked guns for an hour during which I got to hold my first M-16. Turned out to be a cool dude but the daughter turned out bat shit.

In 1979, my Dad and two of his hillbilly brothers threw my cousin's abusive, stalker boyfriend out of a moving car on Interstate 77, not far from Marietta, Ohio. He was scuffed up bad, but not seriously injured. He was about 80 miles from home with no money, and no shoes, and probably afraid they would come back for him. Made a believer out of him though. He never spoke to her again.

Two locked gates 4 miles apart and then another mile of road before you get to my house and all the illegal alien traffic mean that when my daughters date I will not trust some piss ant little boy with the safety of my daughters. The BP checkpoint is only a couple of miles away but I do not trust them to be there in time when some illegal decides he can take some kids vehicle and from them and even worse.. My daughters are very smart and I will give them room to grow up but there are some things worse than being a willing participant and what the fucking illegals will do to them.

This. My dad was a hard man. He doesnt even realize that he threatens, alienates, and verbally abuses almost every person he speaks to. Thats just how he is. Both of us boys were gone as my sister grew up. I was 7 years older, my brother was 12 older than her. My dad did the threats and abuse routine to all of her boyfriends. She was pregnant at 17 and now he is paying her way through college and paying for child expenses. He is a terrible person but a good provider and very family oriented. He is my best friend but just never grew up in a normally functional family. She got her life on track but if he would have spent effort on raising her better she wouldnt have went through her young life the hard way. Its been 3 years and she is getting through school and engaged to a guy who isnt an abusive douchebag like her baby daddy. Another 10 months and she will be in a good spot finally. My dad doesnt realize that girls (and a lot of boys) cant mentally handle the type of abuse he dishes out. It will either make them a hugely tough and successful adult or a broken adult with issues. Luckily us kids turned out good. Im the one sibling that struggles with not being constantly verbally abusive and threatening. I deal with it pretty well but its always a struggle not to fly off the handle. Threats have a lot of results, very few of them positive. |
