Quoted: Sarcasm instead of noticing a gun with a firing pin block indenting primers...in SIG's own tests. Sir, I will continue to liberally apply sarcasm where I see fit until such time as science proves this alleged defect to be real and repeatable. What kills me is that I WANT you guys to be right. As I noted above I don't even own a 320; I don't give a phuck personally. But if you're going to come at a "faulty" gun design, you better come correct. |

Quoted: Explain why no other gun is having this issue. I dare you. Oh wait, you can't do it... Where there's smoke, there's fire. Actually, I CAN do it. The P320 is possessed of a particularly light trigger with a very short pre travel before releasing the striker. Combined with no trigger dingus safety it's a breeding ground for unintended discharges from a variety of sources. However, none of what I just stated indicates that the design of the gun is faulty, which is what so many here love to claim. It's a design that works fine as long as you're in an idiot-free environment. When you add idiots to the mix....anything can happen. |

Quoted: So is there something about SERPAs that pull the trigger, or does the design just allow for people with poor handling skills to make mistakes? Guns don't kill people, people kill people. A mantra at the heart of arfcom, right? It amazes me how quickly people here switch to blaming an inanimate object. |

Interesting video but everything he talks about is post upgrade. There was an issue that caused the upgrade. Also everytime I see him move the sear by pushing on it the trigger is moving. If the trigger is moving to the rear the weapon will fire. He needs to figure out how to demonstrate his theory with a fully assembled pistol. |

I have an older Safariland holster I won’t use with my 320 because you can drive a car between the holster and the trigger (due to accommodate a WL.) Curious to see their new options. I do believe SIG is absolutely correct that these incidents only happen when *something* pulls the trigger. I do agree that they should’ve included a dingus/hinged safety system. |

If the trigger is moving to the rear the weapon will fire. He needs to figure out how to demonstrate his theory with a fully assembled pistol. The problem there is, it really shouldn't do that. The striker block/firing pin block is arguably the most important mechanical safety device in a pistol because it's the only one designed to save people from a mechanical failure. Basically every other safety, be it a manual safety, a grip safety, a decocker, or a trigger safety is primarily designed to improve margins against mishandling. The striker block is there to save you from something going wrong within the gun. If the sear can back-feed and operate the striker block, that basically defeats the purpose of the striker block. With the P320, we know this condition exists, but only in a minority of guns. Between understanding the reason the striker block system exists, and seeing that most P320s don't have this behavior, that tells us pretty clear cut it's a problem. |

And clearly your uncontrollable laughter is preventing you from making a cogent rebuttal to her points. Easier to laugh and wander away, I suppose. That does seem to be Sig's main strategic plan right now. |

Quoted: Possible? Sure. Using the wrong process for a part or mixing up parts could cause all kind of problems. However there is no way there's a $30 price delta between that part being stamped vs MIM'd. If anything the stamped part will be cheaper unless I'm missing something about the complexity of that part. Having worked in the stamping industry, I agree. |

No, because nobody would buy one. I wouldn't. Police departments wouldn't. The military wouldn't. Nobody's gonna buy a gun where the internal safety is "meh, it'll slow down the striker but still contact the primer, and if it does it shouldn't set it off. Good luck everybody". |

Quoted: When they very first came out, I was an early adopter. Then the whole trigger thing happened, and kept happening. Now its a range toy that spends 99.9% of it's time unloaded except when I am ready to shoot. As was I. Bought both a full size and compact in 2016. Thought they were pretty cool and loved the idea of their modularity. The whole drop thing in 2017 caused me to sell them. Not worth the hassle. Very disappointing but I haven't regretted it. |
