I already own my "holy grail" of firearms, something I had more-or-less written off due mainly to rarity.

An original short-rail CZ75.

Several went up for sale on the CZ boards earlier this year, and I managed to snag one of them. It is literally the first time I have seen them actually available for sale - I had only seen two prior sale ads for short-rails ever, both of which I found only after the pistols had been sold.

I know a guy that has Exactly that Luger.. He bought it at a Butterfield action in 1995 for a whole lot of money..

For me it has been a M1A National Match

Artillery Lugers were reasonably priced 15-20 years ago. The prices on a nice one now (especially a complete rig) have become outrageous. My two dream guns would be a 1904 Imperial Navy Luger (rig) and a G Series FAL.
