Well now I have more 30-30 ammo than I can ever use, like 400 some rounds. Between the fusion and the federal rebates.

The Walmart deal one doesn’t have the Accutrigger.  
Not possitive, but I’d imagine the other one is the Axis II XP with the Accutrigger

Snagged one of the Savage Axis 308's today for $199.  Took a bit of looking for them to find it in the back.  Asked if they had any others and they said they didn't think so.  Looked when I got home and it appears they should have a 30-06 also.  Might have to make a trip back in a few days and try to get the 30-06.  I didn't realize Walmart doesn't charge for the background check.  Seems like most places charge $10-15 for it.

There is a strong possibility that I'm gonna pick up a savage 308 and muddy girl 243 youth this weekend. The 243 will be used by my younger cousin maybe next year to hunt with and my niece in a few years when she is old enough to go hunting with me.

Oh yea, rebate it is already in. It was $4.50 a box so I should get back more than I paid.

When I quoted that deal saying the academy one was better, I thought I was quoting the Camoflauge one I bought from this thread. So I was wrong about it being “better”. But it is cheaper.

My camo savages in 30.06 and .308 were both much older stock and had to be wiped down to get surface rust off of them from sitting for years. The academy guns are brand new.

So. There ya go. That’s what I meant to say.

before cankles and his list, i used to check out youtube for all of scores on there and then grab the upc from the receipt that they always show. searched the upc on brickseek or dexter, wrote down the skus and compiled my list of things to watch  from there.  got tired of entering the same numbers everyday, so just created a bookmark folder and bookmarked all of the pages that i search regularly.  all you have to do is keep enetering your zip.  makes searching much easier.
