I overheard an employee talking about dealing with a customer who wanted to put these recent drops on layaway. He was throwing a fit, and they told him they were discontinued in that store so they were not eligible for layaway.
Not sure if other stores will be that strict. |

Again, be polite, but I'd definitely push a bit. They've now acknowledged it's there, and it's not on NICS hold. This manager has checked me out in the past and done their job on point. I think they were having a bad day. But he does have a copy of the forms that show those numbers have been removed from him. Walmart actually took this extremely serious. Walmart corporate was involved . They did try a couple times to just give a gift card or a refund. My father pushed on it. My guess is this was not just your normal things happen type thing. Either way my dad did fine other than his time. |
