I saw a display in electronics with boxed sets of various horror series. DVD, but for older movies not a big deal. Gremlins 1/2 was $5.

Some of the grills are starting go on sale locally now. But brick seek is useless for these. It says no results in the area, when I am standing in the store looking at 10+ of an item.

In on page 686. It’s a sign…I NEED to buy a S&W 686. Segway to something slightly relevant to this thread. I’ve made some progress selling a rifle that I bought for $5 thanks to this thread and a well timed rebate to help fund a 686. Then I set myself back on a new to me scope for a topless rifle. I need more clearance guns.

Yeah I picked up like 8 of the Axis's last year when they were on sale and have grabbed a number of other guns from them during other clearances. Depends on the store. Rindge, NH had them all marked properly but you couldn't see most of the tags in the display case. The look on the employee's face in Salem, NH was priceless when he finally agreed to scan an 11-87 for me and it was only $125.  I'm gonna miss the gun clearance treasure hunting. |

Hot garbage bro.
I just scanned two or three Clarence marked items in the store and it gave me two different prices on the regular barcode and then even their clearance barcode... Makes me wonder what the hell the register would ring up when I get to it finally. . Also the air fryer was in store they were like six of them but brickseek didn't even pop the store up showing any. |

Just left a store all I can say is store sucks, app sucks, employees suck. If only there was another saving oriented store that didn't suck equally as bad. Ugh. I will keep shopping at WM, as my dollar goes a little further, but damn!!! What a fucking joke. That said I have had a bunch of miserable retail and restaurant experiences since the COVID.

i think my deal hunting at wally world may have come to an end. the new update on the app sucks for air. i am standing in the store with the item in my hand and scanning it for the price. the response that i keep getting is that we dont carry that specific item in the store, try one of these alternatives. ummmmmm, i am standing in your f ing store with the f ing product in my hand, you carry it. the app asked me how much i loved their new update, i told it and walmart how much of a dumpster fire their app is and how it progressively gets worse with every update. so far from walmart. "crickets........."

Can anyone who has brickseek premium do me a huge favor - search for this tire in MD-DE-PA-NJ-NY (NYC) area. Need 4 tires. Driver is frequent in NJ-NYC area, but occasionally goes to DC metro
Goodyear Viva 3 All-Season Tire 235/60R17 102T, Passenger Car Tire I don't use brickseek often, don't want to pay $10 to find nothing. Thanks a lot. |

My app has stopped letting me in and will only let me update. The good old days are gone I guess. I tried deleting and reinstalling multiple previous versions and they are all doing the same. Have to do the brickseek webinar and get their app I guess. To bad though not sure if I'll lose the app if I cancel my membership.

Had to go get a tire patched this morning and one of the tire guys asked me if I'd found any deals lately.
Told him both BS and the Walmart app had gone to shit, so nothing much popping up anymore. I haven't of late seen my "walmart girlfriend" as my wife called her, and he said she'd quit and was working for a home health service now.

You guys weren't kidding about how bad the new app is. I had stayed away from updating due to the feedback in here, but tonight it forced me. While I think it looks nice, from a functionality standpoint I think it might be the worst update to a working app in the history of smartphones. It's so much worse coming from a massive company like Walmart that should be capable of so much more. I'd like to meet the people that tested this POS and said "yep, you guys nailed it!".

Was there a new update to the app?
I ran in to walmart last night just to grab a flat of canned dog food for our old Rat Terrier and I couldn't find a price for a double flat. Without thinking I just pulled out the app, forgetting that it hadn't been working, but this time it worked just fine. I did have to log in to the app which I haven't had to do since I got this new phone. |
