this jumped out at me. First Danny Sheehan said it. (Still looking for that one, the top hit for the quote is this thread lol) Then the documentarian Dan Farah said it on the Joe Rogan pod. [tweet]https://x.com/joeroganhq/status/2048239392687300667/video/1?s=61[/tweet] Then very recently David Grusch said it on the Weaponized podcast but this is a clip I could find. The universe is teeming with life. Seems like this is the next phase of disclosure maybe? |

They do seem to be getting slightly more specific as time goes on. In the congressional hearings, the line was "We are absolutely not alone in the Universe" and "We've had communication with Non Human Intelliences". The statements you added are making me wonder if They are trying a "pumped soft disclosure" where each week another factional bit of already released information with bits of non-released information are glommed together and poking about without really pointing out it is new information and we need to figure it out. Then the problem becomes over 100 influencers trying to guess at the reason why and we have hundreds of youtube videos saying they have "The Answer!!!" with screenshots from Google Earth, pictures of Pyramids and an interview with a guy who was wrongfully imprisoned in a mental hospital, then expect everybody to respect their statements. I don't mind the new info in the first part, it's that exponential proliferation and "fuzzification" of the new info so you don't know what is real or not since the people who don't want disclosure have polished youtube channels with lots of followers as well. Please link the original videos where you heard it for the very first time so we at least know in this thread, then we can come back in a week and see how confused everybody is and the topic will just get written off. |

I’ll look them up. I had just earlier yesterday found the Farah on Rogan clip, then we just saw that Grusch did it on the Weaponized pod, and it triggered the memory about Sheehan (that’ll take a minute; it’s been a year at least since that one)… But I’ll link it and maybe we can track others saying it. |

Most planets that we've observed are orbiting stars which are aren't in the habitable zones, or the stars themselves strip the atmosphere with solar winds and flares. It'll be interesting to know of the "building blocks of life" are different elsewhere. |

It'll be interesting to know of the "building blocks of life" are different elsewhere. Well, "knowing" is sort of off the table for right now, at least until someone actually says something. But the speculation is great. The number of galaxies in the visible universe has gone up in the last few years by a factor of 10, from 200 billion to 2 trillion. If ours is a "typical" galaxy, and has 200 billion stars in it, that's 4x10^23 stars, just in the part of the universe we can see. That's a big number. 400,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars, or so. 400 sextillion? I think that's right. Every star we look at that falls within our current capabilities to find planets (transiting, which requires them to be edge-on to us, or causing the star to wobble, which requires large planets) has planets around it. Usually multiples. And that's just what we can see right now, close to us. We're over 6,000 exoplanets and counting. We find the basic building blocks of life as we know it (carbon, ammino acids, water) literally everywhere. The odds of there not being life out there are infinitesimally small. And then we run into the brick wall of The Fermi Paradox, and the dozens (if not hundreds at this point) of potential answers to it. We're early, we're late, the Great Filter prevents intelligent life, everyone gets killed by someone else, advanced societies turn inward to AI/machines and virtual worlds instead of outward, we're all just too far apart, it's just a simulation, etc. etc. etc. Remember, space travel is fucking hard. Until we resolve the debates in physics in favor of it, it's essentially impossible as far as we know. If it wasn't, all the cool kids would be doing it. Von Neumann probes and space jalopies would be everywhere, falling out of the sky. And we get nothing but conflicting information from the "sources." It's aliens. It's not aliens, it's NHI. It's demons and angels. It's the programmers of the simulation looking in on their experiment. Extradimensional beings. Personally? Given the nature of the universe as we understand it right now, I lean toward: - Life is common as dirt. - Intelligent life isn't. The Great Filter (or multiple filters) is very real. We could very well be the only physical, intelligent species in our galaxy right this instant. - The time involved, distances, and technological hurdles make space travel essentially impossible. - That time I just mentioned? Innumerable species could have already come and gone, or are yet to evolve. - Something is happening. The phenomena aren't just imaginary. Which leads me to the conclusion that it's something we already share this planet with (even if it's extradimensional or something similar), or we live in that ever-persistently-annoying simulation idea. Hell, for all we know, a previous species evolved intelligence on this planet before the end of the dinosaurs, and was forced to retreat underground/underwater/to a side dimension. They had hundreds of millions of years to do it before the Chicxulub Crater made it's spectacular debut. Maybe those "reptilians" are just the first species on this planet, and we're some upstart apes that made tools. I just hope we find out. |

The Nancy Grace Roman telescope, hopefully in the sky next year. Supposedly it will find over 100,000 new exoplanets, and the data will be put on the web in real time, so anyone can look at it, because NASA will be too overwhelmed with data to look at even a fraction of it. You could be the one to find a potentially life-harboring exoplanet!![]() Introducing NASA's Roman Space Telescope |

For us living in Newtonian Physics sizes and speeds, light speed seems infinitely fast. To the galaxy, let alone the entire universe, Light speed is woefully slow, some "New" Nova that "just happened last night" seen actually exploded while Jesus was alive but it is brand new to astronomers. Crazy to think about. That's where the wormhole tech comes into play to jump thousands of light years in a blink. |

(I felt like Ogre in Revenge of the Nerds saying “what if C-A-T really spelled “dog” right there )You're close. It's more like right now you are at X1 Y1 Z1 at time T1 Varying T1 you can go forward and backward and vast distances by cheating with the conventional wisdom of what time is. Time is the same as X1 Y1 Z1, it's actually Spacetime as Einstein called it and the Æther / Ether (dark matter today, other names in past 100 years). Time changes depending on Gravity (which we don't understand the exact mechanics of, sort of like time travel...) Space depends on Time (also gravity). So it kind of puts everything in a multidimensional "Sheet" where moving time around is the same as moving position in space. To solve that very hard to describe theory (time travel not experimentally proven since we can't explain how gravity works, but proven that gravity changes time, GPS needs to account for this), anyway, there's the membrane theory (aka brane theory), multiple world theory (how time travel movies usually work), string theory, a few others (list on Wikipedia), and the catch all - simulation theory where we're all just alone and everybody else is a simulation reacting to your actions... But for simplicity: X, Y, Z and T work just fine to calculate everything for people without planetary gravity, time, or traveling over a fraction of the speed of light. |
