Recently, "Screaming Sicilian" has been available in grocers in the PNW and they have an excellent crust, cheese and an amazing amount of high quality toppings.

"California Pizza Kitchen" has a great quality crust that bakes up crispy and delicious.

The best overall from consumers all over the country is Red Baron and Tombstone and there is no place in the US where you cannot get one of these.

For the price, Red baron and Tombstone offer the best value but I personally find the crust of each one of these as real basic and nothing very special.

DiGiorno and Freschetta have better toppinsg but the crusts there are nothing special either as is the sauce.

Best quality in my book is the Screaming Sicilian followed by the California Pizza Kitchen, both great pizzas but you will pay more for them.
I love them all and have personally consumed acres of Tombstones over the decades of pizza indulgence.
Even good old Tony's and Jacks tastes pretty good to me and I'll buy them occasionally.

One bite of a Screamin' Sicilian and I feel like I just dumped a salt shaker in my mouth. The sauce is WAY too salty.

I agree, Tombstone is leaps and bounds better than Digorno.

Tombstone is best for me

Either that or Roadhouse, but I think they are the same.

Red Baron used to be my favorite. Recipe has changed too many times since I was younger, though.

Tombstone is top 3. Same with Palermo's Primo Thin. Third favorite might be Publix brand right now. Totino's Party Pizza is honorable mention.

Wild Mikes pepperoni, I like that there is a packet of pepper flakes included. Besides, it’s the largest frozen pizza I have found.

I got one over the summer, after people posted about Wild Mikes in a pizza thread here.

I cooked it up and noticed that the pepperoni had an 'off' taste to it, every piece. Not a 'spoiled meat' off taste, but more like a 'we use the cheapest shit we can find' off taste.

I should probably buy another one, just to see, but I ended up pitching most of it in the trash.

That's my favorite frozen brand.

For cheap, Tombstone is the ruler, but once in awhile I want a Red Barron taco pizza.

I was very disappointed with the Screamin' Sicilian. The marketing and packaging was in a league way above the pizza's. I bought it once. That was it.

Don't know why it's so hard to make a good frozen pizza, but there are lots of awful ones. I guess it comes down to how cheap the ingredients are. But, some of the recipes for the sauce and crust are just

... did the researchers taste that and say to themselves, "Yep, that's good, it will sell a ton?" Really?

Tombstone is a terrible excuse for pizza. Spend the extra $1 and get digiorno or freschetta.

Party Pizza is the real king of cheap frozen pizza. It's not that great but it's only $1 ish.

Came here to post this. I'm sold on the Screamin Sicilian frozen pizzas. Pepperoni and add some fresh mushrooms before it goes in the oven.

I've had many more late night drunk Tombstone pizzas than all others so i roll with Tombstone

Not sure if this fits the thread, but coincidentally I just ordered a six pack from Lou Malnatti's.

My cousin and her husband ate there locally a few years back and they order a frozen pie every now and then. Saw them over Christmas break and that's what they were eating on Christmas Day to break free of the usuals.

My pizzas should be here Friday. I'll report back.
